(Clearwisdom.net) At 8:30 a.m. on March 6, 2002, in Yubei District, Chongqing City, Sichuan Province, female Dafa practitioner Wang Aihua was kidnapped by a few policemen when she was at work selling her wares as a street vendor in a local market. The arrest attracted over twenty onlookers. Plainclothes police held Wang tightly. When she struggled to break away from the grasps, she cried out loudly, "I follow the principle of 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' to cultivate myself. There is nothing wrong with telling the truth and being a good person. It is definitely not a crime. What is the reason to arrest me?" The police answered unreasonably, "If the country does not allow you, then it means that you committed a crime." Wang Aihua then made use of this opportunity to clarify the truth to the crowd who were shocked by what they heard. Wang's sincere and truthful words touched their hearts deeply. They finally understood the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa and it's practitioners. Their look expressed respect and praise to the practitioner. The police pushed Wang into a waiting police car.
In order to protest the persecution, Wang went on a hunger strike for 3 days. She refused to answer questions and did not follow the orders of the vicious police. That afternoon (March 6), they sent Wang to Yubei detention center and illegally held her there. Later, on March 8, they sent Wang to Shao Guansuo Hospital in Chongqjing City.
When Wang was illegally detained at Lianglu Police Station in Yubei District, Wang refused an illegal body search and a search of her home. Her right arm was severely twisted by a big, tall policeman. She could hardly lift her arm. They handcuffed her between a wall and a chair. In the afternoon, during the interrogation, the section chiefs Li Yuan and Li Maohai from the First Section threatened, tempted and coerced Wang. She totally ignored them and did not answer any of their questions. Li Yuan repeatedly knocked her down, pushing and kicking Wang, causing her right foot to become covered with purple bruises. They forced her to kneel down to answer their questions but Wang refused to follow. Li Yuan said, "It is all up to me whether to prosecute you or not. You'd better tell me!" Wang Aihua still firmly rejected and did not cooperate with them.
When the police searched Wang and her house, they confiscated her husband's bank book, giving them access to 18,000 Yuan [Chinese currency, average monthly salary is about 500 Yuan in cities of China]. They also took tapes and CDs, 1,800 to 2,000 Yuan in cash, the title certificate for the house, 2 land title certificates, phone cards and a cell phone (worth about 4,000 Yuan) and her daughter's computer and a new printer (worth about 6,000 Yuan). They also took blank CDs, video games and more.
At 8:30 a.m. on March 7, the detention center "instructor," Zhang Yuanli, using the excuse that Wang Aihua did not report loudly enough, ordered 6 or 7 people to shackle Wang's legs and cuff her arms behind her back. Wang Aihua shouted out loudly that she was innocent and resisted their efforts. Zhang then grabbed Wang's hair and threw her head onto the ground. Zhang punched Wang's right chest with her fist and crushed Wang's head and neck relentlessly, causing severe pain in Wang's neck and ribs. Much of her hair had been torn out and her body was swollen in many places. Wang Aihau shouted out loudly, "The police are beating me up!" but no one stopped the brutality. At 10 a.m. on March 7, Wang Aihua was strapped into a torture chair, legs shackled and wrists sandwiched between one-inch thick wooden boards. She was unable to move. At 8:30 a.m. on March 8, Li Maohai interrogated Wang, but she refused to cooperate.
Instead, Wang Aihua stated peacefully and majestically, "I am innocent, you cannot do such thing!" The result was amazing! The police in the detention center discovered that they could no longer restrain her. Handcuffs and shackles fell open. The "torture chair" at the detention center lost it's effect on Wang, as well. Her experience there firmly confirmed her belief in Teacher and the mighty power of Dafa, and in turn has frightened the forces of evil.
