News and Activities Around the World
A Taiwan practitioner's letter to her colleagues: I had planned on going to Hong Kong on June 30, but I was denied entry at Hong Kong customs, and was forced to separate from my husband. Other visitors from Taiwan had similar experiences: two-thirds of them were not Falun Gong practitioners. They were simply refused entry because their names were the same as names on the "blacklist" that the Chinese government had provided. I am writing to you to ask for your support, which I believe will help ensure peace in the future.
(July 4, 2002) Taiwan's United Daily News reported that, more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners had practiced at the Chater Garden in Hong Kong, protesting the Hong Kong SAR government's denial of entry to Falun Gong practitioners who had traveled there from around the world. Additionally, approximately 50 practitioners paraded to the government headquarters and delivered a letter to the Chief Secretary for Administration, Donald Tsang. After his staff accepted the letter, the fifty practitioners left peacefully.
In recent days, the media in Japan have continuously reported news related to Falun Gong. Asahi News reported that TV stations in China had popped in Falun Gong programs in their broadcast, while some other major newspapers reported that the Internet cafes in China were ordered to use softwares with tracking capabilities, and that Falun Gong practitioners were refused entry to Hong Kong to make their appeals, and that Jiang Zemin's latest trip to Hong Kong was met with protests from many different organizations.

To "The King of Locksmiths": You use your professional skill to help vicious policemen unlock the doors to homes to search for, and without cause, forcibly abduct Falun Gong practitioners. Do you really want to earn this kind of blood money? We hope from now on you no longer collaborate with these vicious people to conduct such vile deeds. Facing the universe's great law that provides you salvation, we hope you will choose a bright future for yourself.
