I went to Beijing three times to appeal for Falun Dafa and was illegally sentenced to one-and-half years of forced labor. I was detained in the Baimalong Female Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. After suffering inhumane tortures, we persisted in studying the Fa and doing the exercises. We held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. We were brutally force-fed. Fellow practitioner Zuo Shuchun was tortured to death. Although my sentence was illegally extended, I was released in April 2002. The evil's persecution could not change my belief. "Expose the evil, clarify the truth and offer salvation to people" were still my top priorities.

Central News Agency September 7th report: Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaodan held a press conference in front of the Texas State Government building and requested Jiang Zemin's regime to stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. She called for help to rescue her father, who is currently being jailed in Mainland China. Wang Xiaodan also wrote an open letter to President Bush, requesting him to discuss human rights issues during his meeting with the Chinese Leader Jiang Zemin this coming October when the two meet face-to-face.
A practitioner in Canada reports, "On July 19, 1999, we went to the Appeals Office in Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and were rounded up and confined to Shijingshan Stadium by fully armed police. We were without food and drink for the entire day and were let go eventually at 1:00 am the next morning. We continued with our appeal activities, but were stopped by plainclothes police and imprisoned at Chaoyang Coliseum. On July 20th, every stadium in Beijing was filled with practitioners who had gone to appeal for Dafa. I have been arrested four times and jailed twice since Jiang's regime began its persecution of Dafa. I have gone through indescribable tortures, and have witnessed the police savagely beating up practitioners. In 2000, my husband applied for me to go to Canada to live with him. The city police department and the "610 Office" did their best to block it. My children and I would not have been able to come to Canada if it was not for the care and support of the Canadian government."

Unresolved mysteries around the world: There are many "mysterious slopes" in the world that are "easier going up and more tiring going down." For example, in Shenyang City of Liaoning Province, Jinan City of Shandong Province, and in Xi'an City of Shaanxi Province, such "mysterious slopes" were found. In Taiwan, there is a tourist attraction where "the water flows upward." Peculiar slopes can also be found in Paraguay, Jizhou Island in Korea and Utah in the United States. Scientists have proposed all kinds of explanations. Everyone has his own opinion and none of them are very convincing.
