(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate Reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Lawless Officials in Ding'an County, Hainan Province Severely Injured in Traffic Accident
On July 19, 2002, several thugs from the Ding'an County "610 Office" terrorist organization [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Hainan Province, including the chairman of Dong'an County People's Congress, Feng Yumei, were involved in a serious auto accident while returning from the People's Congress conference at Longmen Town.
There were eight people in the vehicle. Three were injured, while the other five people escaped unharmed. All three that were injured were local persecutors of Dafa. Feng Yumei was thrown from the car and suffered severe head injuries. He was hospitalized at a cost of 8,000 Yuan in medical bills per day, which drained the county's treasury. The chief of the County Territory Bureau, Chen Linxin, collided head first, almost destroying his face. The chief of the County Education Bureau, Wang Shiguang, suffered three broken ribs. He once persecuted a middle school teacher and sent him to a labor camp. The other five people secretly rejoiced over their good fate. One Dafa practitioner told them that because they did not take part in persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners, they avoided this suffering. This deeply shook the populace in that county. This incident helped them see more clearly that those who follow Jiang's regime and do evil do not have good fates.
Moreover, Chen Qingda, who is in charge of the "610" organization in Ding'an County, Hainan Province, led a group of lawless people to forcibly abduct and illegally confine Dafa practitioner He Jinlan on June 12 of this year. After Chen Qingda returned home, he was stricken with a sudden illness and is now bedridden. He has been confined to bed for more than ten days.
The Family of Yongfeng Town Secretary Suffers for the Evil He Did
Yu Yongxun, the town secretary of Yongfeng Town, Ding'an County, Hainan Province went all out to persecute Dafa practitioners and insulted the Buddha Fa. He caused an auto accident in late 2001. He had to pay tens of thousands of Yuan to settle up privately; however, he did not change his ways. He harassed Dafa practitioners in his area, confiscated their families' property and threatened practitioners many times. Dafa practitioners admonished him with good intention many times, but he still acted willfully. Before the 2002 Spring Festival, Yu Yongxun's two children were playing outside. His son crashed the bicycle they were riding, and his daughter hit the ground so hard that she lost consciousness. She remains paralyzed and in a vegetative state to this day. The lawless town official who did all kinds of evil not only invited unexpected calamity for himself, but has also brought disaster to his family members.
