(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner's son was not a cultivator but read the book Zhuan Falun a few times. When the police persecuted his mother, the son spoke up and protected her. Later he escaped unscathed in a car accident. Meanwhile, the Village Secretary General, Mr. Zhu Yueliang, who persecuted Dafa practitioners, received karmic retribution and is bound to a wheelchair. These stories had a strong impact on the local community.
On September 24, 2003, at around 1 p.m., on the Tianjin city highway between Wuqing County's Yang Gelao and Houtun, a big cargo truck collided with a farmer's 3-wheel vehicle and caused the latter to be totaled. There were seven farmers on the 3-wheel vehicle: the driver Mr. Zhen Baoli and passengers Mr. Wu Baoqi and others. All six of them were killed instantly. The only survivor, Mr. Liu Jun, was thrown the farthest from the vehicle. Mr. Liu was sent to a local hospital but has now recovered from his injuries.
On the day after the car accident, Mr. Liu Jun woke up and said to his father in a feeble but excited voice, "I just saw Teacher Li Hongzhi in my dream." Liu Jun's mother is an honest woman who has difficulties reading, and was a Dafa practitioner. In the past, Liu Jun assisted his mother on several occasions. He read the book Zhuan Falun to her. Although he does not cultivate Dafa, Liu Jun believes practitioners to be good people.
One time the village secretary general accompanied the police to take away Mr. Liu's mother. Liu Jun blocked the police at the door and sternly questioned their excuse for persecuting an innocent person.
Through this incident, many people have understood the truth about Falun Gong and are no longer against Dafa. Some with destined relationships also began to learn the Fa. They know that one person learning the Fa will benefit the whole family. Originally in this village only Liu Jun's mother cultivated Dafa, but now most of the villagers have a new and better understanding of Falun Gong.
