With the safe return of the spaceship Shenzhou V and its astronauts, the whole country of China was in joyful spirits. However, at this happy moment, Jiang did not forget to persecute Falun Gong.
Some readers pointed out that during the SARS crisis, Jiang hid away, yet he did not forget to use the SARS issue as a weapon to defame Falun Gong.
This time just as the news of the successful spaceflight was released, Jiang's gang made up another story, claiming that Falun Gong tried to attack SinoSat and interfere with news broadcasts.
If it was "interfered with," how come everyone saw the news on TV so clearly? Jiang's gang then claimed, "Appropriate measures have been taken to avoid the interference after we found out Falun Gong's attempt to attack SinoSat." In the end, they claimed that the interference came from Taiwan.
Jiang wants to cause everyone in China to hate Falun Gong and at the same time, inflame tensions between the people of China and Taiwan.
The Director of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, Chang Ching-his, said to the media that he did not know of any one in Taiwan who tried to interfere with the satellite, and he doesn't think Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners would interfere at that special moment. Chang thinks it's the Chinese Communist Party trying to defame Falun Gong and it is one of the weapons used to stir up hatred amongst people, just like the Tiananmen Square Self Immolation story.
In Washington DC, an electrical engineer who wishes to remain anonymous commented on Xinhua news reports that the attack was undertaken by Falun Gong and that the source of the satellite interference was Taiwan. He said that he could not imagine how China could determine that the attack was by Falun Gong, unless there were Falun Gong inserts in the broadcast, but inserts and interference as the Chinese government claimed are two completely different issues.
He went on to say that the claim that the interference came from Taiwan was also a unilateral claim by the Chinese regime, made without verification. He pointed out that China's claim is attacking both Falun Gong and Taiwan.
