Tonghua City, Jilin Province Normal University Administrator Who Severely Persecuted Falun Gong Dies in Car Accident
In Tonghua City, Jilin Province Normal University, Dean Zhu Lihua, together with the rest of the administrators vigorously enforce Jiang's directive to persecute Falun Gong. They fill the public blackboard and big posters with defamation propaganda, force students to sign their names to denounce Dafa, and force students to denounce Dafa on exams. They also send students who practice Falun Gong to brainwashing centers and jails. Even those students who do not practice Falun Gong themselves but have parents who are Falun Gong practitioners are singled out during the big convention and chastised in small meetings. This interferes with the students' ability to concentrate on their studies. On September 9, 2000, Dean Zhu Lihua (female) and all the cadres went to a meeting in Changchun. Their car crashed on the way home; five died and four were injured.
Those people in the fields of education and media who are still acting as Jiang' tools in persecuting Falun Gong, please stop immediately and try your best to make up for your bad deeds. You are not only hurting others but also yourself.
Tonghua City Railroad Hospital Chief Slanders Dafa and Dies in Car Accident
There were two Dafa practitioners working in the Tonghua Railroad Hospital in Jilin Province. They were excellent workers. The hospital chief, Wang, demoted both of them, lowered their salaries and had them sent to prison because they practiced Falun Gong. Dafa practitioners and their relatives had warned Wang many times not to curse Dafa and not to persecute Dafa practitioners. Wang did not heed their warnings and would slam at the table and curse Dafa more profusely. Sometime between the end of 2000 and the beginning of 2001, hospital chief Wang's car smashed into a big truck parked on the side of the road. All of the passengers in the car were uninjured except for Wang, who was killed.
Former Official at Tonghua City Water Department Who Persecuted Dafa Practitioners Commits Suicide After Being Charged with Embezzlement
The former Director of Tonghua City Public Utility Department in Jilin Province, Gao Deli and his underling, former manager of the Water Company, Lu Jie, vigorously enforced Jiang's order to persecute Falun Gong. Ever since July 20, 1999, they have been deceiving, pressuring, and firing all Dafa practitioners who work in the Public Utility Department. They also set up brainwashing sessions to force practitioners to denounce their belief in "Truth, Compassion and Tolerance." Despite numerous warnings from Falun Gong practitioners, they refused to listen and continued to persecute practitioners.
In 2002, the central government ordered the Public Security Bureau to investigate the embezzlement case of Gao Deli and Lu Jie. As a result, Lu Jie, apparently unable to face the punishment for his crime, committed suicide and Gao Deli was sentenced to six years in prison.

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]
