(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Chujun is a Dafa practitioner from Huaihua, Hunan Province. She has traveled seven times to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. Each time she was subjected to brutal tortures after being arrested. Ms. Chen was taken to the Guangzhou Reeducation School in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province (a forced labor camp) where she was subject to forced brainwashing and tortures. Later the immoral staff transferred Ms. Chen to the Baima'niang Female Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, where she was subjected to more brutal torture because she refused to renounce her belief in Falun Gong.
After she began a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution, the staff administered Thorazine [also known as Aminazin, Chlorpromazine, Largactil, Thorazine or Wintermin; see below further details], a strong tranquilizer and psychotropic drug used in the treatment of psychiatric patients, although there was no evidence that she suffered from any psychiatric disorder. The punitive measures resulted in serious afflictions for Ms. Chen Chujun, such as severe brain and cognitive dysfunction. Prior to the 16th National People's Congress, Ms. Chen went to Beijing again, attempting to clarify the truth about and the persecution against Falun Dafa. Unfortunately, she was abducted and taken to a secret railway detention center, and later illegally sentenced to 3 years in prison by Huaitie Transportation Court in Hunan Province. Throughout the illegal trial, two bailiffs held Ms. Chen by the arms to prevent her from collapsing. It appeared she still suffered from severe cognitive dysfunction, as she had lost her ability to speak. The current whereabouts of Ms. Chen Chujun is unknown. No one knows whether she is still alive.
Important Note on Thorazine:
The psychotropic drug Thorazine (also known as Aminazin, Chlorpromazine, Largactil, Thorazine or Wintermin) is an anti psychotic drug and used in the treatment of psychiatric patients. Thorazine may result in rather severe side effects, such as tardive dyskinesia (irreversible neurological disorder, afflicting the involuntary muscle movements, such as eyelids, tongue, arms, legs, mouth, lips, tongue, etc.), tardive dementia (a global deterioration of mind and mental faculties caused by the drugs), general dulling of awareness, emotional numbing, and cognitive dysfunction.-
According to Amnesty International's medical advice, these drugs are not in themselves sinister. There are specific disorders for which they are prescribed, but only qualified doctors should administer them, and they must be monitored. Given that Falun Gong practitioners are subject to torture and maltreatment, and in the absence of evidence that they suffer from any psychiatric disorder, it is evident that the administration of such drugs are a punitive measure. In other words, Falun Gong practitioners have been inappropriately administered psychotropic drugs in order to punish them for their spiritual belief in Falun Gong.
