(Clearwisdom.net) On December 7, 2003, nearly one hundred Falun Gong practitioners from Metropolitan New York and New Jersey gathered in front of the Waldorf Hotel in Manhattan, peacefully demonstrating the exercises to welcome Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to the U.S. and to call for bringing Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for the brutal persecution of Falun Gong, to justice.

They held no protest activities and filed no lawsuits against those new leaders. Overseas Falun Gong practitioners have different attitudes towards Jiang Zemin's group and the new Chinese leaders. (Clearwisdom.net, December 7, 2003) Recently, when answering questions during the U.S.--China Education Symposium held in the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President of Chongqing University openly admitted that students in his university who practice Falun Gong could be deprived of their education because of their beliefs. This drew a strong reaction from local community.
