(Clearwisdom.net) The July 4th Independence Day Parade this year in Saipan Island was the most spectacular parade in recent years. There were more groups participating, more people watching and more Chinese people. Dafa practitioners participated in the parade for the second time.

Two months prior to the parade, practitioners began to prepare a float and dance performance. Without any dance background or professional guidance, the practitioners choreographed the performance themselves and rehearsed every day after work. The practitioners also designed and made their own costumes.
Three male practitioners in golden exercise suits holding signs for "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" led the procession. Two of them were practitioners from the Philippines and California. For both of them, it was their first time to participate in a Dafa activity. Another practitioner was from Kaohsiung in Taiwan, and his wife and son were also participating in the parade. Following them were four female practitioners holding a banner with the words "Falun Dafa is good." A beautiful Falun was embroidered on the golden banner. Eight practitioners were behind them and danced along the parade route. They won warm applause from the audience. The beautifully decorated float followed the dance group. On the float, there was a large hand-made lotus flower, and a model of Zhuan Falun was placed in the middle of it, shining brilliantly in the sun. Three practitioners demonstrated the fifth exercise under it. On the float's golden banner were the three Chinese characters for "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Behind the float were more than a dozen practitioners from Taiwan in bright yellow Dafa T-shirts. They walked along the parade to distribute Dafa flyers and truth-clarifying flyers to people watching the parade. They also presented children with pens with Dafa website addresses on them. The practitioners also performed Falun Gong's standing exercises for the spectators during the parade.
The Dafa practitioners' procession left a wonderful impression on the spectators. Many Chinese people who didn't seen the parade last year were amazed.
