(Clearwisdom.net) I have read Clearwisdom almost everyday for the last two and a half years. A lot of people may be surprised. I realize now that many people are bound to be surprised, because they probably do not read all the articles on Clearwisdom, everyday!
However, as a practitioner who was isolated for the first 3 years of my cultivation, the Clearwisdom website was my one window to the world of Dafa and what Dafa practitioners are doing to validate the Fa. Even though I felt very isolated and was able to see local practitioners only once a month or every two months, I knew that I could always rely on Clearwisdom.
So, over the last 3 years of reading articles on Clearwisdom, I feel that I have been able to understand the Fa more deeply, and follow the general direction of Fa-rectification. Even though being isolated from practitioners was painful and lonely, I always felt a sense of kinship when I read Clearwisdom - as long as I read Clearwisdom, I felt that I was not alone. Reading the magnificent acts about how Dafa disciples around the world, especially in mainland China, validated Dafa always inspired me to do better and do well to save sentient beings as best as I could.
One important section that I would like to mention is the "Facts of the Persecution" on Clearwisdom. Reading the articles has played a very important part of my cultivation during this period of time. Reading them consistently over the last two and a half years has also completely changed my outlook on life and way of thinking in a positive way.
When I first started reading Clearwisdom, I was shocked by the brutality of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China. I couldn't help crying when I read the articles. Yet, I forced myself to keep reading the articles because I wanted to truly understand what the situation in China was.
Over the course of reading the persecution articles, I found myself changing. Of course, Fa study is primary - the Clearwisdom articles supplemented my Fa-study and helped me understand the Fa more deeply, especially the articles about the situation in China.
Now, when I read the articles about the persecution and counter-persecution efforts, I do not see it as suffering. I see the magnificent sacrifices that Dafa disciples have made in China to validate Dafa. As I mentioned before, it also helped change my way of thinking. For instance, today, when I do something, I am able to think about the situation in China and think, "How did the practitioners in China handle something like this? When faced with such a wicked persecution and violent test, haven't they displayed nobility and character?" I find that my outlook on life has been tempered to be purer and nobler; purer and nobler because I can see how Dafa enables the disciples in mainland China to conduct themselves in such a dignified way in a difficult environment, and it motivates me to do even better.
Of course, I enjoy the other articles, such as stories about the early days when Master spread the Fa in China, as well as practitioners' insights and Fa-rectification activities around the world.
Master said in "Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference",
"Mankind, the mankind of the future, they'll eulogize today's Fa-rectification for generation after generation. (Applause) The truth about this persecution hasn't yet been fully revealed for mankind to see. Mankind will be shocked. The Consummation of Dafa disciples, the occurrence of everything that mankind doesn't believe in, and the process of all of mankind's deviated things being rectified--these will be soul stirring, and not just shocking but terrifying. All of those things will happen. So this segment of history will be passed down by mankind for all eternity."
I would like to thank Clearwisdom for documenting this segment of human history, and for enabling me to follow this segment of human history as it happens before us.
