Facts of the Persecution

Practicing Falun Dafa cultivation is the best choice I've ever made for myself.

My name is Wang Yulan. I am a 50-year-old woman from Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. I had leukemia, but since starting Falun Dafa practice in March 1996, I have become a healthy, happy person. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, I went to Beijing many times to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong, but I was illegally arrested and cruelly tortured. Police officers even poured liquefied feces on me. In November 2000, I was illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp for a three-year term. In protest of this injustice I held a hunger strike. The camp guards force-fed me, putting a tube into my throat via my nasal passage, which they left in place even when I slept. They handcuffed me to a chair and used four electric batons to shock my palms and the soles of my feet. I was unable to endure this inhuman torture performed by the guards and the collaborators (1), so I was forced to compromise my belief. Afterwards I decided to resume cultivating Falun Dafa, so the police continued to persecute me. They deprived me of sleep for nine days. They cuffed my hands behind my back to a hot plate, yet I was inexplicably unharmed. I told them, "Even if you try to kill me this time, I will not give up my belief."

Note:

(1) Collaborators are former Falun Gong practitioners who have turned against Dafa due to brainwashing and torture.
