(Clearwisdom.net) Six practitioners from a cotton and spinning factory in Mouping, Yantai City, Shandong Province, have children who go to Dayao Middle School. The parents rented a house near the school so that their children could utilize their time effectively after school to study the Fa and do the exercises. The police took the children to the police station and threatened them many times, forcing them to write Guarantee Statements promising not to practice Falun Gong. Three mothers were given labor camp sentences, and one became destitute and homeless.
On September 1, 2004, Mouping security personnel and officers from the Dayao Police Station raided the practitioners' rented house. The police abducted one of the mothers, Jiao Cuiguo, who was delivering food for the children, and snatched all the Falun Dafa books. The police came to harass the children after they returned home from their evening studies. The police drove their vehicle around the house all night, keeping the children up all night in fear. Then they broke down the door, took the children to the police station, and interrogated them about the location of their practice site. One officer threatened to beat the children when they refused to answer his questions, but, fortunately, the principle of their school was also present so the officer did not carry out his threat.
After that, the police took the children to the station many times, forcing them to write Guarantee Statements and fingerprinting them. When the children asked the principle for help, he sadly replied, "There is nothing wrong with teaching people to be better and to go by the principles of Truth, Compassion and Forbearance, but the government will not allow it. There is nothing I can do."
On the afternoon of September 2, the police kidnapped three more mothers: Liu Renling, Jiao Lixiang and Sun Houyun. The security staff of Yang Yinghai, Zhu Jianguo, Liu Xinwei, Hu Fengrui and Wang Lin held the mothers in Mouping Detention Center and forced them to write Guarantee Statements. Two of the practitioners started a hunger strike against the senseless persecution. The police also tried to arrest another practitioner who was not at home at the time. They forced a manager at her husband's workplace to add pressure and threatened to stop his salary if they could not find her.
At the detention center, Dr. Zhang Sheng claimed that Ms. Liu Renling had a serious illness and tried to force her to take medicine. When she refused, Dr. Zhang Sheng ordered eight or nine male inmates to hold down her arms and legs, cover her nose with a towel, pry open her teeth with pliers and force the medicine down. After three days, a security guard named Zhu Jianguo tried to force four practitioners to sign papers to extend their detention. When they refused to comply, Lin Guofa, another guard, ordered several inmates to drag them out.
Ms. Sun Houyun was put in shackles after being beaten. Ms. Liu Renling and Ms. Jiao Cuiguo started a hunger strike and clarified the truth to their persecutors: the police and guards. After eight days on a hunger strike, the doctor began force-feeding them with food and unknown drugs. From that point on, they were force-fed every other day.
After the practitioners' hunger strike had been going on for twelve days, the director, the doctor and security personnel returned. Liu Renling told them that it is a crime to persecute a practitioner. The doctor claimed that Liu Renling had a fever and needed IV fluids. When she refused, Dr. Wang Dongmei ordered eight or nine male prisoners to hold down her head, arms and legs as he injected her with an unknown drug.
After fifteen days in detention, Ms. Jiao Cuiguo suffered a seizure and remained in a fetal position. The guards were notified, but they did nothing. The doctor came later and said nothing would happen as long as she still remained conscious. Seeking to avoid being held responsible for the condition of these women, the authorities released the two practitioners after extorting 2000 yuan each from their relatives. After 20 days, the police went to the homes of these two practitioners again to try to arrest them, but Liu Renling was not home. They took Jiao Cuiguo and sentenced her to three years in a labor camp.
At this point, the lawless personnel are still persecuting Jiao Cuiguo, Jiao Lixiang and Sun Houyun in the labor camp.
