(Clearwisdom.net) Yan Xiling and Shi Suqin from Baoding City, Hebei Province, met with brutal persecution because they practiced Falun Gong. As a result, they were each persecuted to the point of death in December of 2002 and April of 2004.
Ms. Yan Xiling, 55 years-old, was a farmer from Kangzhuang Village, Jiezhuang Township, Xinshi Borough, Baoding City. When she attained the Fa in 1998, she had a gastric disease. After beginning to practice Falun Gong, however, her body rapidly became healthy. When the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, community members Zhang Liuxing and Han Guozhan reported her to the authorities. At 11:30 p.m. on September 29, 2002, the Jiezhuang police took her from her home to the police station. She was later sent to the Baoding City detention center, where her body and spirit were severely damaged from persecution. Ms. Yan Xiling was released on December 9, 2002. Then, on December 29, 20 days after she returned home, Ms. Yan Xiling passed away.
After Ms. Shi Suqin from Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province started practicing cultivation, she attained a healthy body and mind. However, since Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong, her husband was deceived by the media propaganda. Her husband was especially against her practicing Falun Gong and often beat and abused her. In addition, officials from Dingxing County arrested her many times. In 2002, the Dingxing County police department, and people from the 610 Office, illegally seized her two times and put her in a brainwashing class in Liyuzhuang, where she was persecuted. The second time, Shi Suqin was beaten unconscious and her relatives had to take her home. After she returned home, her husband did not let her practice Falun Gong. After being tortured, Ms. Shi Suqin's body never recovered. Her family members also did not let her study the Fa or do the exercises, and under these circumstances, Shi Suqin lived months of agony and distress. Some time in April 2004, she was hit by a car and killed.
