(Clearwisdom.net) It is known that over a hundred Dafa practitioners are illegally detained in Chuanxi Women's prison. Most of the practitioners are very firm, and the persecution by the police is exceedingly brutal. The methods used to persecute Dafa practitioners are disclosed as follows:
Tying Up with Ropes
After soaking hemp rope in water, the rope is wound around the arms from the shoulders to the wrists, and then both arms are tied behind the person's back. This position restricts blood flow to the arms and puts pressure on the heart. Any person receiving this torture will faint in half an hour or so, and the rope is then loosened. After the person regains consciousness, she is tied up again. This process is repeated many times.
Hanging while Handcuffed
Methods used for handcuffing a person's hands: 1. The police handcuff practitioner's hands in the standing position. Aside from the three breaks for meals and restroom break, the handcuffs are on 24 hours a day. The person receiving this punishment cannot lie down or squat, and the punishment usually last for between ten and twenty days, with lengthy cases exceeding a month.
2. A person hands are handcuffed behind the person's back. Then their hands are handcuffed to iron bars at the height of the person's waist. The person's upper body, from waist to head, is bent forward, and the head is facing down. Except the three meal times and restroom break, the handcuffs are on 24 hours a day. After a few days in this position, the person's leg or whole body experiences severe swelling, and the person's life is in great danger.
3. The practitioner's hands are tied behind her back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together.
Forced Running while Being Towed
The criminal inmates are formed into many groups, with each group consisting of 3 or 4 people. A Dafa practitioner is tied to a rope, forced to run behind the group, through the fields. When the group tires out, another group is substituted, and the practitioner continues to be towed behind the new group. These runs last half a day, and the practitioner is forced to run twice a day for many days until she is completely exhausted and her life is in danger.
Implicating Others to Instigate Hatred
If a practitioner does not acknowledge having committed a crime (does not shout the words contained in the "confession" the police have prepared for them), the police will punish the whole group of prisoners by having them stand and disallowing eating and sleeping. This arouses hatred and results in other prisoners beating up practitioners.
Confining in Solitary Compartments
Practitioners are tortured secretly in solitary compartments.
Extending Sentences Illegally
The police use various excuses to illegally extend sentences to continue to detain practitioners who have completed their terms. Chuanxi Women's Prison also disallows family members to visit practitioners who are firm and disallows practitioners to purchase daily necessities.
The practitioners' situation in Chuanxi Women's Prison is terrible, and the prison has strictly blocked off the flow of news. The prison leaders have even stated shamelessly that their treatment of the practitioners is as warm as the spring winds and rain in their attempts to deceive the public.
