This past March, I took truth-clarification materials with me and traveled to my hometown, where I was born and raised.
At a health center in the town, I visited an old acquaintance who used to be my coworker. Several months ago, she turned down my offer of a truth-clarification VCD with the excuse of not having a VCD player. This time, it was different. Not only did she greet me warmly, but also listened to me carefully and accepted the VCD.
I went to a small store that was owned by a distant relative of mine. After we saw each other, I took the opportunity to tell him about my experience of being forced to serve a forced labor term, letting him understand the true situation of the persecution.
After giving flyers to my relatives and friends, I was ready to take a bus to go to the county seat, where I was supposed to make a connection to return home. In a small bus, I gave a card with a picture to a young lady. I gave another card with "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" to her companion. Another middle-aged man sitting in the back reached out and asked for one. I said, "I've given them all out." He appeared to be somewhat disappointed. I struck up a conversation with him and explained to him how I was persecuted for practicing Falun Gong. The driver heard what I said and showed sympathy for what happened to me.
When I arrived at the county seat, as soon as I got off the bus, I ran into an older lady who had bandages covering her face. She looked like she was in excruciating pain. I asked her what happened and she said that she had a dermatological disorder on her face. I told her, "Recite 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance' and 'Falun Dafa is good' a few times a day, and it may be helpful to you." She said anxiously, "Write it down for me. Write it down for me." Holding the piece of paper, I wrote it for her with her hands. She was excited and did not know what to do. "Good person! Good person! I ran into a good person today. Where do you live?" Before we parted, I also told her that she could teach her relatives and friends to do the same.
