Bay Area Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Huang said, "It was reported that Wuhan City Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Zhao was beaten to death at 3:00AM on April 16, 2004. At around 10:30PM on April 1, Wuhan City Police Department No. 1 Section head Jin Zhiping, deputy head Xiao and others abducted Huang Zhao and her husband Liu Ning from their rented home. Huang Zhao was unable to walk due to the beatings on the second day of her detention at the police department. It was revealed that the police beat Huang Zhao because she refused to comply with their unreasonable demands. Early on the morning of April 16, the police department authorities informed Ms. Huang's family that Huang Zhao passed away at Wuhan City No. 1 Hospital at 3:00AM on April 16."
Among the Falun Gong practitioners who have died recently as a result of persecution was a Harbin Industrial University undergraduate student who was illegally sentenced for practicing Falun Dafa. Because he refused to write the "Three Statements" to renounce his beliefs, the guards ordered four criminals to brutally torture him. They did not give him any food and did not allow him to wear clothes. The practitioner died on the morning of April 5, 2004.
In face of this brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have been persisting in their belief. Most deaths are due to torture in police custody, with many being beaten to death. Ms. Huang called on people with a sense of justice from all walks of life to extend their helping hands to the innocent Falun Gong practitioners. Stop the persecution and severely punish those who are participating in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
