(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since this year's Spring Festival, Ms. Cui Yaning has been illegally detained and abused in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Because of her poor health, she was sent to the Internal Masanjia Hospital. A checkup revealed extremely low blood pressure and an abnormal electrocardiogram. Supervisor Zhang Xiurong and Assistant Supervisor Zhou Qian knew about the situation but lied, saying that Yaning had no problems and was in good health, refusing to release her. Normally, the internal hospital is just another way for the labor camp authorities to extort money from the practitioners. They are sent there for unneeded checkups and tests, all at an exorbitant cost charged back to the practitioners.
Cui Yaning was detained for the first time in 1999, and was severely tortured because she would not give up practicing Falun Gong. On December 28, 2001 she was detained again for more than two years. However, Cui Yaning remained committed to her belief in Falun Gong. Recently Masanjia Forced Labor Camp started a program called "Three-Tier Management" to increase the pressure on the detained practitioners. The three tiers are called: Open, Half-Open, and Closed Style. The most severe, the "Closed Style", targets the most steadfast Falun Gong practitioners.
Our sources report that Masanjia prison guards are very afraid because recently released practitioners wrote articles published by Clearwisdom, exposing the brutal torture of practitioners at the labor camp. Currently Cui Yaning's life is in imminent danger, but prison guards paid no heed to this and simply locked her up in a small solitary cell. (1)

1) "Locking up in a small cell": The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards shackle practitioners in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
