(Clearwisdom.net) In March 2004, Ms. Xiao Yuanxiu, a retiree from Chongqing City's No. 69 High School, died as a result of persecution simply because she adhered to her belief in Falun Dafa.
Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Yuanxiu was a 70-year-old retiree from Chongqing City's No. 69 High School. Since the Jiang group started persecuting Falun Dafa in 1999, the No. 69 High School has been persecuting Ms. Xiao. At the age of almost 70, the school forced her to be the guard at the school gate. The principal, Xu Zhibi, and administrative staff member Huang Mingwei, sent Ms. Xiao to the brainwashing center in Geleshan four times and deducted several hundred yuan (1) from her retirement compensation every time the brainwashing sessions were over.
Due to the long period of physical and mental torture, Ms. Xiao's physical condition deteriorated, but those vicious people did not stop persecuting her. At the end of February 2004, school principal Xu Zhibi and others started to harass Ms. Xiao again. They claimed that since the time was approaching for the National Conferences of the People's Representatives and the National People's Political Consultative Conference, Ms. Xiao would not be allowed to go out. Ms. Xiao then gave Xu Zhibi some truth-clarification materials. Xu did not listen to her but started cursing her instead. On March 5, 2004, Xu and Huang called two policemen to wait by Ms. Xiao's home. They waited until about 9:00 p.m. and tried to abduct Ms. Xiao. They forced Ms. Xiao's son and grandson to open the door. At that moment, Ms. Xiao, who was near the bathroom, suddenly fell to the ground. The two policemen then left in a hurry. On March 7, Ms. Xiao died.
