(Clearwisdom.net) The guards at the Longshan Labor Camp in Shenyang City shocked 36-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong's face and other parts of her body for nearly seven hours with electric batons, which severely disfigured her face. Ms. Gao is presently being held in Room 0533, Division Two in the Orthopedics Department at No. 1 Hospital affiliated with the China Medical University in Shenyang City.
Prior to this incident, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wang Xiuyuan and Ms. Wang Hong were tortured to the brink of death at the same Longshan Labor Camp and died several days after they were released.

electric baton shocks. The picture was taken ten days after the torture.
Gao Rongrong, 36 years old, an accountant at the Luxun Fine Arts College in Shenyang City, persisted in her practice of Falun Dafa. When the persecution began in 1999, she was a major target of the persecution. She lost her job because of the persecution, and she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa but was arrested and held for several months. She was sent to the Longshan Forced Labor Camp in July 2003.
On May 7, 2004, Tang Yubao, deputy head of the No. 2 Brigade, team leader Jiang Zhaohua, called Ms. Gao Rongrong to the duty office and shocked her with electric batons for 6-7 hours, from 3:00 p.m. to after 9:00 p.m. She sustained burns on her face, head and neck, which caused her face to swell and become disfigured. Her face was covered with blisters, her hair was matted with blood and pus was adhering to her scorched skin. She could only open her eyes a crack because of the swollen face and her mouth was severely swollen and deformed. Even inmates who had lived with her day and night for a long time could not recognize her. Picture 2 shows her face after the blisters had dried up, with the scars still present. The scars on some parts of her face are thick, which shows the severity of the electric shock. The perpetrators shocked many parts of her face repeatedly; many blisters and burn scars have overlapping layers.
Since Ms. Gao was detained at the Longshan Forced Labor Camp, her body was severely damaged from the torture. She had pain in the area of her liver and abdomen; she had an intermittent fever and persistent nausea, and could not eat. Deputy head Tang Yubao of the No. 2 Brigade slapped her face until she lost hearing in one ear. Yue Jun, head of the No. 1 Brigade, ordered inmates to humiliate her by cutting her hair until it was close to her scalp on the top of her head. Picture 3 was taken when some hair had grown back.

On March 22, 2004, Gao Rongrong refused to attend a Dafa-slandering meeting. Tang Yubao pulled her off her bed, grabbed her by the neck and dragged her outside to beat her. Several team leaders pinned Gao Rongrong to a chair. Tang Yubao also ordered two team leaders to carry Ms. Gao into the Administration Section office and cuff her to a heating pipe, and then they beat her and shocked her head, face, neck, hands and feet with electric batons for half an hour. Later, labor camp head Li Fengshi walked in and ignored the lawless guards' abuse of Gao Rongrong; instead, he said to her, "This is an autocratic government agency. What do you think the handcuffs and electric batons are there for? I don't believe they can't discipline you, little Gao Rongrong."
In an attempt to escape from the inhuman tortures on May 7, Gao Rongrong jumped from the 2nd floor office window, fracturing her pelvis, thigh and legs.
Picture 4 was taken on the eighth day after the incident. Because of the circumstances at the time and the camera's quality, the picture is not very clear, but we can see electric shock scars on both of her ankles. The electric shock injuries on the sides of her legs were more serious than shown in the picture because we were not able to get the pictures taken from a proper angle. We can see bruises from her being kicked on the front of her right shin, and the area and severity of injuries are greater on her left calf and thigh. The doctor diagnosed that she sustained two fractures on her pelvis, her left leg was severely fractured and her right heel was broken. She was too weak to undergo an operation.

The Longshan Labor Camp and Shenyang City Judicial Bureau claimed the electrical shock scars on Gao Rongrong's face and body were from her fall from the second floor. It has been two months since the disabling incident took place and Gao Rongrong's condition has not improved.
On the same day as May 7, Tang Yubao also shocked the faces of Falun Gong practitioners Jin Kegui, Liang Shujie and others. Jin Kegui's face was severely scorched and swollen over a large area. Her eyes were black and blue, and pus seeped from her broken skin. She was limp from the beating. Her daughter tried to visit her, but was refused by the labor camp.
In April 2004, the Longshan Labor Camp detained 52-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiuyuan from the Shenhe District, Shenyang City with an extended term. She was on the brink of death, and passed away on April 27, 2004, one week after she was released.
In 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Wang Hong was tied up, forced to squat, and force-fed at the Longshan Labor Camp until her kidneys failed. She died in late August 2001, several days after she was released.
In order to be promoted to a provincial-level work unit, the authorities in the Longshan Labor Camp posted signs that read "Scientific Administration and Civilized Law Execution." Head Li Fengshi often personally participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. He ordered the beating and torture of practitioners who refused to work or refused to have their pictures taken, including Gao Rongrong, Su Huihuan, Sun Yan, and Feng Guifen. According to the investigation by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners, in late 2001, the Longshan Labor Camp received a 400,000 Yuan reward for its "achievement" in persecuting Falun Gong.
According to what we know so far, Gao Rongrong is being held in Room 0533, Division Two, Orthopedics Department at No. 1 Hospital, affiliated with the China Medical University in Shenyang City.
