(Clearwisdom.net) Lawsuits have been filed against many Chinese government officials recently when they traveling abroad. Rumors circulated, claiming that Falun Gong practitioners were harassing Chinese officials traveling abroad. Some government officials fear that they will be served with legal papers when traveling abroad. We wish to comment regarding this issue. First, we wish to caution everyone not to believe all information credited as coming "from within the Chinese government," as such information is self-serving.
Who will be charged in foreign courts?
First, only those who have committed crimes are charged. Only those in the different echelons of the Jiang Regime government who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners are being challenged through legal means. It is they who, during the past few years, closely adhered to Jiang's instructions concerning the persecution, and thus secured their position, received promotions and benefited financially. We need to make it clear to everyone that those who benefited from the persecution are those who have been recognized as being "adept and proficient" in the persecution. Their hands are stained with Falun Gong practitioners' blood and tears. We want to stress that these people are corrupt and unprincipled. These people understand very clearly their role in the persecution of Falun Gong.
"Harassment?"
Claiming that the lawsuits are a "harassment" of government officials is a technique to forestall used only by those who have to gain by such methods. This is the natural behavior of those who have harmed, hurt, or even killed people. The tactic is to feign innocence and frame the victim.
"Will I be served with legal papers when I travel abroad?"
Being aware of the aforementioned discussion, all those Chinese government officials can answer their own the question. All they need to ask themselves, "What role have I played in this persecution against Falun Gong?" "Are my hands stained with the blood of practitioners?" "Have I been promoted by the Jiang regime because I persecuted Falun Gong?"
If the answers to the above questions are negative, you need not worry. If the answer is positive, then being charged is the natural outcome to your actions. No one can kill people without being punished, and no one can persecute cultivators without punishment from heaven. Everyone must take full responsibility for the crimes he or she has committed. The only difference lies in the how and when, the formality and time of the karmic retribution.
Actually, Falun Gong practitioners cultivate their hearts and minds and adhere to the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." They follow the principles closely and can clearly distinguish good from evil. The Minghui website has exposed the crimes perpetrated by some local government officials and police guards in the persecution. After they came to know the truth, they no longer participated in the persecution and instead protected the practitioners. Thus they effectively made up for their crimes. After their sincere heart and actual deeds were recognized and verified by local practitioners, their names were removed from the criminals list on Minghui and other Dafa websites. There are numerous cases like this. Some high-ranking government officials gave in to Jiang's pressure and tacitly approved the persecution. Their behavior had negative effects to different degrees. However once their conscience awoke, they understood the criminality of their actions, stopped their criminal behavior and began to cultivate in Dafa. Thus, practitioners, out of compassion, no longer have the desire to press legal charges. We clearly state that the purpose for filing legal charges is to suppress the evil and promote goodness, to stop the persecution and allow for "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" to govern people's heart.
