(Clearwisdom.net) In the past five years, the Chinese central government's "610 Office," which was established on June 10, 1999, has actively carried out and implemented Jiang's genocidal policy against Falun Gong. It has become a Gestapo-like organization dedicated to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. As of July 15, 2004, at least 1,006 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of the persecution. The hands of personnel in "610 Offices" are stained with innocent people's blood. They have committed a huge crime. Many of those who are involved in the persecution have died suddenly or died from abnormal causes.

According to statistics from Minghui.net [Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net], Heilongjiang Province is the province with the highest number of cases of deaths of Falun Gong practitioners. As of July 15, 2004, at least 154 practitioners have died as a result of the persecution. Daqing City was one of the regions with the most severe murders of practitioners. At least 23 Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death there. Staff from the "610 Office" in Daqing City once organized the key members of its root units and from "610 Offices" in the four counties within its jurisdiction to take a sightseeing trip to Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan Province. There were 28 people on the tour bus. During the trip, the bus suddenly "stood up" by itself and turned over into a 30-meter deep mountain ravine. Four people died in this accident, including the person in charge of the "610 Office" who was also the tour group leader. According to a certain news source, it happened in early May 2002. Because the "610 Office" has tightly blocked this information, the details about the time and other particulars of the situation have been kept secret.

In May 2003, two staff members of the "610 Office" in Shandan County, Gansu Province died suddenly and almost at the same time. Wang Xinming, the head of the county's Standing Committee was one of the most active staff members in the "610 Office" in Shandan County. He died in a car accident in May 2003. It was a terrible accident in which his body was injured beyond recognition. Yin Pinwen, Party Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee of the county, was the head of the local "610 Office." He died suddenly from cardiovascular disease in mid-May 2003. At his memorial service the eulogy stated, "Regarding the Falun Gong issue, this comrade remained consistent with Central Party Committee Comrade Jiang Zemin. His attitudes were clear; his standpoints were firm. He made contributions."

There are many cases of these lawless "610 Office" employees dying suddenly for "making significant contributions" to the persecution of Falun Gong. Reported here is just a small fraction of the total number of incidents. Actually, nothing is accidental and everything has a cause to explain why it happens. Throughout history karmic retribution is evident in many cases. "Good is Rewarded, Evil Provokes Retribution" is not just a saying from folk wisdom, it is a universal law, a heavenly principle. There are many cases in which those who maintain a kind heart toward Dafa and treat Falun Gong practitioners kindly received rewards. In this article I am only focusing on cases where "Evil provokes Retribution." The entire report is divided into eight sections:

1. Karmic retribution shows that Jiang's regime's persecution of Falun Gong harms everyone
2. Lawless staff members of branches of the "610 Office" all over the country receive retribution
3. Those police officers who are personally involved in persecuting Falun Gong have received retribution
4. Political and party cadres and officials in the Political and Judiciary Committees are victims of their own "cleverness"
5. Cadres in various departments receive retribution for helping the tyrant do evil
6. Those who defame, slander and hate Falun Gong incur retribution
7. Those who reported Falun Gong practitioners to the authorities and those who destroyed items explaining the facts of Falun Gong receive retribution
8. Loved ones of certain persecutors of Falun Gong practitioners suffer from retribution

Falun Gong teaches practitioners to follow the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance." These principles are widely embraced and respected by millions of practitioners. However, Chinese dictator Jiang, out of envy and resentment, has chosen to instigate hatred towards Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin put his power above the law and pushed the whole country into a catastrophe by persecuting Falun Gong. He has not only brought tremendous suffering and disaster to Falun Gong practitioners and their families, but he has also put all those hired minions and accomplices who are directly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong into a dreadful situation, nearly beyond redemption.

All those who persecute Falun Gong have discovered the law of karmic retribution, particularly those who are members of Jiang's faction. Jiang's faction, however, tries to keep these incidents a strict secret. It has done so to continue to hoodwink the Chinese people, and to urge and persuade the political cadres, policemen and others who are kept in the dark, so that they will continue doing bad deeds.

The reason we compiled these cases of retribution is not for the purpose of taking pleasure at the misfortune of those who have suffered retribution. Instead, we mean to help people to awaken to the tragic results of their participation in the persecution of Falun Gong, and to help them distinguish right from wrong so that they can choose a correct path for their future.

As a matter of fact, these tragedies shouldn't have happened and could have been avoided. It is Jiang's shameless defamation that incited those who don't have the wisdom to see the truth to hate Falun Gong. He and his followers incited those with little sense of righteousness to knowingly persecute good people. Moreover, Jiang's defamation of Falun Gong has been used as excuse for those who pursue their own self-interests to persecute Falun Gong practitioners unscrupulously so as to gain advancement in their political career. They will not only forfeit their lives eventually, but also bring disaster to their family members. They will end up being accomplices, "to be buried along with Jiang Zemin's corpse."

A. Karmic retribution shows that the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong harms everyone

Through these cases of retribution, we can see that those who received retribution all participated in the persecution of Falun Gong, and they all slandered and hated Falun Gong. Some of them personally persecuted Falun Gong practitioners, some helped the tyrant to do evil, some held hatred towards Falun Gong, some reported Falun Gong practitioners to the police, some destroyed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials, and some others slandered Falun Gong. The retribution not only punished the evildoers, but also warned others, and it has shown the following characteristics:

1. The retribution takes the forms of illness, loss or other disaster, and it not only targets the evildoers, but also brings disasters to their family members. The degree of retribution varies according to the degree of evilness of the person's conduct. As for those guilty of the most heinous crimes, their retribution usually occurs in the most violent manner, and the commonly-seen incidents include sudden death, death from an incurable illness, traffic accident or similar situation.

2. Political and Party cadres and officials in the police and judiciary systems are the first to be affected, because many of them are out for power and money and are deeply poisoned by Jiang's hate propaganda. They abuse their power and directly give orders or persecute the kind-hearted practitioners, and therefore they are guilty of huge crimes.

3. Cases of retribution can be seen all over the country, with most cases occurring in the Northeast and the North of China, where the persecution is the most severe.
4. Retribution is not limited by social status, wealth or power. No matter how much power or how much money one may have, as long as he/she has committed crimes against Falun Gong in the persecution, and still fails to awaken to their conscience and to make up for their wrongdoing, they are not spared retribution.
5. Time factor: "It is not that there is no retribution, it is that the time is yet to come; when it is time, all will be settled." Because the factors behind individuals vary from one another, the timing and the process of retribution also varies, and so does the form. Some people meet retribution right on the spot in this lifetime; for others it may be postponed to a later time. Some meet their retribution in a split second, while some others might suffer a painful process.

Jiang Zemin, the prime culprit in the persecution, and his major accomplices have become panicked and terrified. They have been charged with lawsuits overseas, while in China they are also widely condemned. They are in the agony of receiving retribution, and their fate will be miserable. In no way can they escape karmic retribution.

Some people may feel that the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's group has nothing to do with them, so they have adopted a self-protective attitude and have become indifferent to the persecution. We can clearly see from the large number of incidents that those who persecute Falun Gong practitioners will eventually receive karmic retribution. Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong has victimized all Chinese people. The campaign against Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance by Jiang and his gang has caused harm to everyone. Some people may not have realized that Jiang's blatant, defamatory propaganda against Falun Gong has poisoned their minds. Their mindset holds bad attitudes and even hatred toward Dafa, and they may even inadvertently assist the evil and aggravate the persecution.

Since this persecution concerns everyone, understanding the truth about Falun Gong is the same as being responsible to oneself and to one's loved ones. Knowing the truth about the persecution is a blessing. In this article, in order to present an overall picture, we have just cited a small number of cases of karmic retribution, which have been reported on Clearwisdom.net.

B. Lawless officials from the "610 Office" in various places in China have received karmic retribution

Jiang set up the "610 Office" for one purpose only: to persecute Falun Gong. Not obeying the laws or the Chinese Constitution, and committing all kinds of crimes, the "610 Office" is a Gestapo-like, illegal organization that obeys the orders of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan. Many lawless officials in the "610 Offices" are from the Political and Judiciary System, which Luo heads. Here we singled out instances in the "610 Office" to let people get a better understanding of this secret, criminal organization.

• "610 Office" leaders Yijing and Bai Weiquan from Qingyang County, Gansu Province received karmic retribution while on their way to torture Falun Gong practitioners in an attempt to force them to give up their belief. They were both killed on January 8, 2003 when their car rolled over.

• Guo Yuansheng, male, 58 years old, an official from Liaoning Province's Lingyuan Prison "610 Office," was the former political instructor for the administration branch of this prison. Ever since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he had been in charge of the "610 Office." While at a major conference at the end of 2003, Guo suddenly suffered from cerebral hemorrhage. He died on February 6, 2004 following emergency treatment at a Beijing Hospital.

• Liu Shaoguo, former deputy principal of Baoqing County's Party School and a "610 Office" staff member, took part in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. His small intestine had to be totally removed due to a serious illness. He died in June 2003. Furthermore, the head of Baoqing County's "610 Office," Pan Zhenwu, has also received karmic retribution and he has become mentally disoriented.

• In Shaanxi Province, Baoji City's Weibin District's "610 Office" head, Liu Dihua, died of carbon monoxide poisoning on January 21, 2004, the last day of the lunar calendar year, when he was taking a bath with his mistress in her home. Both died naked in the bathroom. To cover the scandal, Weibin District's Government and Party Committee simply held a hasty funeral. Even Liu's son was reluctant to attend the funeral.

• According to an inside source, Wang Rongsheng, a former official from Jiangsu Province's "610 Office," was found to suffer from leukemia shortly after he was promoted to the position of chief of Jiangsu Province's Judicial Department.

• In May 2002, Associate Director Li Yaoguo from the "610 Office" in Guangzong County, Hebei Province, suffered a massive stroke at the age of only 36. He is now totally paralyzed and is in a vegetative state.

• Chengde County, Hebei Province: Guo Qiang, 50 years old, is a supervisor in charge of the "610 Office," and Wu Lei, 34 years old, is a former political instructor in the county's Political and Security Department. Since July 20, 1999, both have frequently participated in the arrest of Dafa practitioners, in ransacking their homes, sending them to labor camps, sentencing them to prison and using other methods to torment Falun Gong practitioners. Now both of them have received karmic retribution. Guo has brain cancer and spent 60,000 to 70,000 yuan in medical and transportation costs for surgery in Beijing. He is still unable to get out of bed. Wu also suffers from cancer and is unable to work.

• Li Qun and Lin Haiqing, each of whom had headed the "610 Office" in consecutive terms in Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia, have met with retribution. After Li Qun died of cancer, the subsequent head of the "610 Office," Lin Haiqing, now suffers from a terminal disease and has to take a leave of office.

• Lei Yancheng, Falun Gong persecutor, second in command at the Mengyin County "610 Office," suddenly lost consciousness several times in 2002. He has now been diagnosed with brain dysfunction. He told his co-workers, "Don't let Falun Gong know about it."

• He Lisan, Jichun County Political and Judiciary Committee secretary and head of the "610 Office," has persecuted Dafa practitioners cruelly. He often slandered Dafa and the founder of Falun Gong. In December of 2001, he died suddenly from an acute illness.

• Zhang Xinguo, head of the "610 Office" in Fukang City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, was in his 40's. He personally participated in the persecution against Dafa practitioners and often broke into Dafa practitioners' homes in the middle of the night to arrest them. He fell ill on August 24, 2003 and unexpectedly died in the hospital the next day, after being admitted for a medical exam.

• To seek a promotion, Wang Zhongjun, director of the "610 Office" of Ding'an County, Hainan Province, has arrested more than ten Falun Gong practitioners in his county, sent them to labor camps or handed them prison terms. Falun Gong practitioners had patiently clarified the truth to him and advised him of the principles of karmic retribution. He shouted, "You talk about karmic retribution. Where is the retribution? I have arrested many of you and I still live happily and healthily. I have not seen the retribution." Unexpectedly, within a month after he made the above remarks, his only son died from liquefied natural gas poisoning in Guangzhou City. On May 8, 2003, his wife jumped into a well and killed herself. By closely allying himself with Jiang's gang, Wang's family was destroyed. The retribution, however, has not yet come to an end.

• Gu Jianhong worked for Qianxinan County's "610 Office" in Guizhou Province and specialized in brainwashing Dafa practitioners. She worked very hard during the two brainwashing sessions. One session was held in April 2002 and lasted over a month; another one was organized prior to the 16^th National Party Congress. Before the 2003 Chinese New Year, on her way to Guiyang City for a conference, the car her family was riding in was hit by a tractor-trailer. Gu died at the scene; her husband was severely injured and the driver and her son suffered minor injuries.

• Su Zuojin, about 40 years old, was the head of Huitong County's "610 Office," Huaihua City, Hunan Province, and former associate chief for the county police department. His wife, about 30 years old, was a close ally in slandering Falun Gong practitioners. One day in the beginning of March 2004, when both of them rode in a van from Huaihua City to return to Huitong County, his wife mysteriously died in the van.

• Immediately after Fuping County's "610 Office" director, Qi Guiliang from Baoding City, Hebei Province built a new house, he initiated a brainwashing class in his house right away to make money from persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Over the past several years he has received much karmic retribution, both severe and light. His tricycle turned upside down as he was riding it; he sustained a dog bite; the chickens on his farm died in large numbers and he lost a great deal of money, but he still does not realize the cause for all this.

• Liu Yongfu, male, in his 50's, is a former associate head of the Heilongjiang Province, Tonghe County Police Department and a backbone of the "610 Office." Liu followed Jiang's orders closely. He slandered Dafa and persecuted Dafa practitioners personally. He arbitrarily abducted practitioners, interrogated them under torture, insulted and extorted money from them. In 2004, his illegal conduct of colluding with, tolerating and harboring criminal groups was exposed. In order to escape from criminal punishment, he sold his household belongings overnight and hurriedly left town with this huge amount of money. His whereabouts are still unknown.

• Yu Shuibin, head of a special case group for Wuhan City's Jiangxia District "610 Office" in Hubei Province, has exhausted his efforts in aiding and abetting Jiang to persecute Falun Gong. In December 2003, Yu was diagnosed with serious liver cancer. He is now at home on medical leave.

• Zhang Guoqiang, a former Zhejiang Province "610 Office" administrator, has worked very hard in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. For his "competence" in persecuting Falun Gong, he was supposed to be promoted to the position of Party secretary for the provincial Political and Judiciary Committee, but did not succeed. His wife exposed the scandals he was involved in, and as a result, he has become notorious in the area. Due to his being morally corrupt and taking part in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, his followers and relatives deserted him. This is another example of the principle that evil is met with retribution.
