Facts of the Persecution
1) Policeman Zhang Xueping of Changli County, Hebei Province hired over thirty people to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners at a brainwashing program that has lasted for an extended period of time. Dafa practitioner Ms.Guo Shuying has now been illegally detained for nearly three years. She remains steadfast in her practice of Falun Gong and is still being illegally detained at the brainwashing center. After being detained at the forced labor camp for four years, Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Weijin's sentence was due to end. Because he refused to renounce Falun Dafa, his basic rights were denied and he was sent to the brainwashing center for nearly a whole year, where he was deprived of sleep for a long period of time.
2) The following is a report from Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Yuen about the illegal acts committed by personnel from the No. 2 Vocational School and the Panlong Police Bureau in Kunming City on June 2, 2004: The Panlong Police Bureau National Security Team Leader, Li Jinchang, and Kunming City's No. 2 Vocational School Deputy Principal, He Huaqiang, came to search my home. From June 2 to July 7, the Panlong National Security Team called my husband, Jiang Yuliu, in for interrogation on five separate occasions. On July 7, my husband was abducted from home. I was sent directly to the No. 2 Forced Labor Camp in Yunnan Province. On July 9, as soon as I stepped out of the labor camp, I was ready to hand in a letter of appeal to the People's Government of Kunming City. However, Principal Wan Jianguo, Cen Bing, Deputy Principal He Huaqiang and a couple of others abducted me and forced me into a vehicle despite the fact that I was over four months pregnant. They sent me to a school campus in the suburban area, and ordered me to stay in the dormitory until further notice. Later, after I went on a hunger strike to protest their illegal actions, I was finally released and allowed to return home that night at 7:30 p.m.
3) Wang Shanling of Wusong County in Jilin Province is a 68-year-old woman. After she started practicing Falun Gong, her illnesses disappeared, she regained her health and the effects of a stroke she once had also disappeared. On March 5, 2004, the Police Station Head, Zhang Ege, and other policemen abducted Ms. Wang after ransacking her home. After having been subjected to this persecution, Wang Shanling became so ill that she is now bedridden.
News From Outside of China
1) The Global Rescue Team in Toronto, Canada wrote a letter to Liaoning Province residents concerning the persecution of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Huang Xin. Fifty-year-old Ms. Huang Xin is the mother of Mr. Zeng Xiaonan, a Toronto resident. On September 14, 2003, Ms. Huang was illegally sentenced to eight years in prison by the Faping District Court of Heping District, Shenyang City. She was detained in the No. 7 Team of the No. 9 Department of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. After a while, she was transferred to the monitoring and supervision hospital of the prison, and was forcefully given nerve-damaging drugs every day. The Global Rescue Team has listed Ms. Huang Xin as a family member who needs to be rescued as soon as possible. This case has also been reported to the Canadian Government and the Chinese Embassy in Canada. Many of the laws set by the Constitution of the People's Republic of China have been violated by Heping District People's Court in Shenyang City and by the People's Prosecutor's Office and the Women's Prison of Liaoning Province. Ms. Huang's son, Zeng Xiaonan, is ready to file a legal action in China and abroad against the relevant people who have participated in persecuting Huang Xin.
2) After watching a DVD on Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and his regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, students from the Minghui School in New Jersey and New York wrote letters to the Chinese government, police officers, Chinese citizens and Falun Gong practitioners in China to express their wishes for the persecution to end as soon as possible.
