On July 20, 1999, the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and his group initiated the unprecedented persecution of Falun Gong in mainland China and conducted genocide of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. It has employed the entire state propaganda machinery to disseminate lies slandering Falun Gong to deceive the Chinese people and even people around the world in order to incite hatred against the practice and practitioners.
It has been five years since the persecution began and
numerous Falun Gong practitioners have created a tough, great
and peaceful path to protest for their belief. With great
compassion and tolerance, an unflinching will as well as their
constant belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, Falun
Gong practitioners persistently clarify the truth to people and
expose the Jiang group's lies when confronting this most
contemptible, vicious and inhuman persecution. Through their
effort, the whole world has seen the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa
and it has gradually won support from good-hearted people.
People who have a sense of justice have condemned Jiang and his
regime's behavior.
During the whole activity, many people were shocked by the
pictures showing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who
have been subjected to torture by the police. They could not
believe that this is taking place in modern society. People came
in a steady stream to sign the petition to bring Jiang Zemin to
justice. Policemen who were on duty also signed the petition
when they learned the truth.
German MP Dr. Berg who came by chance, told practitioners that he supported Falun Gong and would make use of every opportunity to discuss this issue with Chinese officials.
