(Clearwisdom.net) According to Clearwisdom website data, twenty-three Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death during August 2004. These deaths are confirmed deaths and were reported by trustworthy people from Mainland China. The total number of verified deaths has risen to 1,036 practitioners.

The Persecution of Mr. Shi Tiejun and Other Practitioners in Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Shi Tiejun lived in Liuxian Village, Sheli Township, Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province. In February 1999, he began practicing Falun Gong and benefited tremendously.

On July 20, 1999, Jiang started the persecution against Falun Gong. Shi Tiejun clarified the truth to people and was persecuted.
