(Clearwisdom.net) After the successful conclusion of the sixth UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in London on the 29th of August, UK practitioners organized an anti-torture poster exhibition in London's famous Trafalgar Square the following day. The exhibition exposed some of the cruel methods used to torture Falun Gong practitioners in China and was shocking to tourists and local citizens. Over 1800 signatures were collected, calling for Jiang Zemin, the chief criminal in the campaign of genocide against Falun Gong, to be brought to justice.

August the 30th was a public holiday in the UK. There were streams of people visiting the square. After a few showers in the early morning, the sun shone on Trafalgar Square. To accompany the anti-torture posters, practitioners continuously demonstrated Falun Gong exercises in the centre of the square and used loudspeakers to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China to the public. People listened to the introduction and there were always tourists carefully reading the posters. Practitioners went to talk to people about Falun Gong and the persecution, and asked them to sign our petition. The troupe of waist-drummers also performed repeatedly between exercise demonstrations. The beating of the drums attracted many people to the anti-torture exhibition.
Many people, after signing the "Bring Jiang to Justice" petition, wanted to know the location of the exercise sites, while many others started to learn the exercises right on the spot. Many tourists from China stopped to see our activities and some left with Falun Gong information. During the one-day event, there were several moving stories.
1. A gentleman from China, about sixty years old, said to us wholeheartedly after learning the facts about Falun Gong, "I wish you success".
2. A young Chinese couple that came to the UK for sightseeing saw our exercise demonstration. The man asked the lady, "Falun Gong! Would you like to take a photo with them?" The lady replied: "It's Falun Gong. Of course I want to take a photo!" Then she asked the practitioner who was giving out leaflets, "Do you know that in China you are not allowed to practice this?" The practitioner replied, "Yes. We know." The practitioner then talked to them about the persecution of Falun Gong, and the couple left with some information to take home.
3. A Chinese mother with her two children came to say that a few days ago she got our materials in Chinatown and the Video-CD was very well made. She then talked to practitioners for a long time. She said to practitioners, "This cultivation way teaches people to be good. It's good for keeping fit and healing illness. It's really good. There is no reason why Jiang should not allow people to practice it."
4. A lecturer from Imperial College learned the truth after talking to a few practitioners and was puzzled that such a group of innocent people is persecuted in China. When he heard that the Chinese Embassy refused to renew a passport for a practitioner, he went to talk to this practitioner and expressed his disbelief at Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioner told him that although the reason behind this persecution sounds crazy, this is what really happened. The lecturer said repeatedly, "This is really shocking! Really shocking!"
The day's activity was a great success. Many people learned the truth about Falun Gong here. With more and more Chinese students and tourists coming to the UK, practitioners felt great responsibility. Practitioners in many other major cities in the UK plan to hold anti-torture exhibitions. This will surely allow more people to learn about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
