(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Li Xupeng, Zheng Libin and Ma Wanli from Beijing were subjected to violent abuse at the Haidian District Detention Center, Beijing.
Late in the evening on November 26th, 2004 or the early morning of the 27th, Li Xupeng, Zheng Libin and Ma Wanli were arrested. Officers from the Malianwa Street Police Station arrested them at their rented residence, No. 601, Unit 3, Building 15, Zhuyuan Residential Compound, under the administration of Malianwa Street Committee in Haidian District, Beijing. The printing equipment in the room, plus many flyers and VCDs were confiscated. The losses were significant. The three practitioners were imprisoned in the Haidian District Detention Center.
Li Xupeng and Ma Wanli were released a month later, while Zheng Libin was transferred back to Heilongjiang Province. The three of them had been subjected to varying degrees of persecution. Li Xupeng lost consciousness twice from the torture and was sent to a hospital for emergency treatment both times.
The police beat Zheng Libin so severely that his eardrums ruptured, causing him to lose most of his hearing. He went on a hunger strike for twelve days to protest the persecution, and he was force-fed many times. During the force-feeding, his nose bled profusely and he was extremely weak.
