We now list below more of the torture methods used there. Practitioners are: 1) Forced to stand outside in the cold wind for a long time, even in winter. 2) Forced to stand in military formation when in "training," which includes forced marches, standing in line or in formation for long periods of time, etc. 3) Forced to run long distances. 4) Force-fed when on hunger strikes, using a tube inserted through the nose in such a brutal way that it causes pain and bleeding. 5) Locked in solitary confinement, and forced to listen to videos slandering Falun Dafa day and night. 6) Forced, in conjunction with the Guangdong Provincial Anti-Cult Association, to attack Falun Dafa publicly to poison the minds of the people. 7) If firmly cultivating, and steadfast in their belief, they are taken from the Guangdong Provincial Women's Labor Camp to the Sanshui Labor Camp, to have collaborators brainwash them. 8) If they are former practitioners who have succumbed to brainwashing they are sent to their local Substation, other labor camps or brainwashing centers to brainwash other practitioners. 9) Directed or threatened (especially collaborators) to cover up the truth when upper level cadres and inspectors come to inspect the facility. 10) Sent, when they become collaborators, by the police or supervisors, to other labor camps to learn how to torture Falun Dafa practitioners. 11) Not allowed to make phone calls, write letters; receive personal mail; subjected to unannounced body searches or belongings searches. 12) Lied to themselves, and their family members receive phone calls telling them fabricated lies, and threatening them. 13) Deprived of the right (particularly for steadfast practitioners) to have relatives to visit them. 14) Sold daily needs at far higher prices than the market price. 15) Charged a nightly bed fee. 16) Charged a fee, in those instances where it is allowed, for having family members visit them, of ten yuan per person. 17) Forced to sit in a squatting position when talking to supervisors, and burned with electric batons or beaten to force them to squat. 18) Fed stir-fry rotten vegetables and chili peppers as side dishes. 19) Insulted at the Sanshui Labor Camp induction center by having their heads shaved upon arriving. 20) Starting on June 7, 2004, steadfast female Falun Dafa practitioners are being transferred to the Sanshui Labor Camp to be tortured with the same means used on male Falun Dafa practitioners.
