(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of December 14, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver came to the Thai Consulate to deliver a letter to protest the fact that the Thai police were instigated by the Chinese Embassy to rudely interfere with Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful protest activities. The Thai police illegally detained three Falun Gong practitioners, including Zhang Mengye, for a period of time. This act has seriously violated the practitioners' human rights.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has become notorious in the international community for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners who cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In so doing, it has put itself in an unprecedented dilemma in political and diplomatic aspects. To date, 6.3 million people have declared their resignations from the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the Internet. The CCP now faces a dead end. The Thai government should recognize the situation, abide by international norms, not be manipulated by the CCP and not interfere with Thai Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful and legal truth clarification activities.
