(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Liu Zhouliang, the deputy director of the Special Case section of the National Security Bureau in charge of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, closely following the orders of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's faction, has arrested countless practitioners in Xingtai City and sentenced them to prisons and forced labor camps. As a result, many kind and innocent practitioners in the Xingtai area suffered from broken families, with spouses leaving and children dispersing.
Liu Zhouliang did a great deal of harm to practitioners with the intention of pleasing his superiors. However, he did not get promoted; instead he is now suffering from hypertension and coronary disease and has had to be hospitalized many times.
Fu Jian was chief of the police department in Leidian Township, Yingshan County, Hubei Province. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong, he had led his subordinates to break into practitioners' houses to confiscate their Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Although practitioners advised him many times, he still did not awaken; instead he became worse. Eventually, he died on his thirtieth birthday while relaxing at a public bathhouse (the physiological cause of his death is unknown to us).
Recently, many propaganda posters slandering Falun Dafa emerged on the campus of Northeast University in Liaoning Province. There was even a "planned design" for the persecution of practitioners. All of these activities were instigated by Sun Lei, chief of the Propaganda Department of the local CCP Committee.
Since the CCP's "Safeguard Advancement" campaign began, Sun Lei has worked very actively to propagate the theories of the Communist Party. In the recent three campaigns of "Safeguard Advancement" held at Northeast University, he spared no effort.
After he attended the first "Safeguard Advancement" campaign, he was diagnosed with nephrolithiasis (kidney stones.)
We would like to remind those who work in the education system in China to take Sun's example as a warning and to live up to your conscience and wisdom as a true traditional Chinese intellectual, so as to choose a good future for yourselves.
Sun Lei, chief of the Propaganda Department of Northeast University.

In 2003, a farmer from Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, pretended to want to learn Falun Gong. He obtained by fraud a Falun Dafa exercise CD and some other Dafa material from practitioners and then handed them in to the National Security Bureau of Xingyi City. The police from the National Security Bureau arrested these practitioners soon thereafter. So far, these practitioners are still imprisoned in Guizhou City Women's Forced Labor Camp. In September, this farmer died in a car accident.
In January 2001, policemen Lei and Yin, from the Public Security Bureau in Qianxi County, Guizhou Province, arrested two practitioners, Zhang Hongmei and Jiang Min, and sent these two practitioners to Guizhou Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp. Lei died in September 2001 in a car accident and Yin was diagnosed with tuberculosis.
