Han Yu and other officers from the Tiexi District Lingkong Police Station brutally tortured Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yuqin
At around 6'clock in the evening on April 29, 2002, officers Han Yu, Meng Fanyong and others from this station knocked on the door of Liu Yuqin's apartment. Han Yu tried to open the gate with a key from the outside. One hour passed; he failed. Later he opened the gate by force, abducted Liu Yuqin and took her to the Tiexi District Police Station. The officer then returned and confiscated the family's personal belongings, Dafa books, Master's photograph, exercise videos, audiotapes, various recorders and other things. They also examined the files on the computer.
That night at the station, led by Han Yu, four or five sturdy individuals shut Ms. Liu Yuqin in a dark room and extorted evidence through torturous interrogation. They tied Liu Yuqin to a chair, grabbed her hair and took turns slapping her face. When one was tired, another followed. After several days a blood clot emerged from one of Liu Yuqin's ears. Li Yuqin still has ringing in her ears.
The police burned Liu Yuqin's hands with cigarette butts. They tied Liu Yuqin to a chair again. Several people held Liu Yuqin's legs down while another police officer rolled a six-inch thick stainless steel pipe back and forth on Liu Yuqin's calf and punched her thigh with the pipe; this led to two scars on her calf and a deep hole on one of the thigh muscles.
Even so, the police didn't get what they wanted. During the interrogation and torture, Liu Yuqin tore up the "the written record" when the police were not paying attention. The police then intensified their torture.
Later, the police changed their tactics to ask Liu Yuqin how many fliers she had handed out. They were not satisfied with the number Liu Yuqin gave them and forced her to come up with a bigger number by torturing her until the number was big enough for Liu to be sentenced to forced labor.
The police also tied Liu Yuqin's hands behind her back and pushed her to the floor. Pushing her head, neck and arms disabled her to the point of being unable to perform heavy labor, even now.
Police officer Han Yu hit Liu Yuqin while threatening her, "The Lingkong Police Station is one of the nation's best at suppressing Falun Gong. I do not believe that I cannot manage you!" He added that arresting a Falun Gong practitioner would be rewarded with 3,000 yuan. He also pointed a gun at the middle of Liu Yuqin's eyebrows saying, "I might execute you!"
Han Yu tortured Liu Yuqin for the entire night. Her arms swelled and suffered excruciating pain. She could only walk with great difficulty. Other police officers who participated in this incident were Meng Fanyong, Mr./Ms. Cai, Mr./Ms. Sun and others.
Lingkong Police Station and Huaxiang Fourth Residential District persecute Wang Jun
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Jun photocopied some of Master's lectures on the morning of October 23, 2000 at a printing shop. The staff reported her activity, and Wang Bo and two other officers from the Lingkong police station arrested her. The computer and printers at Wang Jun's home were confiscated. Another officer involved is an individual named Sun, whose home is in the Huaxiang Fifth Residential District.
Wang Jun was persecuted by personnel from the Lingkong Police Station and people from the Tiexi District Police Department. Later she was sent to the Shenyang Labor Camp and sentenced to two years of forced labor.
After she returned home, personnel from the police station, including Ma Bin continued to harass her at home. On December 30, 2002, Ma Bin, Yan Dong, and He Liping came and tried to arrest Wang Jun and transport her to a brainwashing center. Wang Jun did not cooperate and jumped from the third floor balcony and broke her wrists and legs. She escaped with others help, but was badly wounded. The evildoers did not catch her so they searched everywhere. They kept on persecuting and harassing her family, who could not lead a normal life. Her over 80-year-old mother-in-law was frightened so frequently that she had a recurrence of heart disease.
In June 2003, Wang Jun went back home, but because of the leg injuries she was unable to walk normally, and hid at home. Nevertheless, persons from the police station and from the community constantly monitored her. Ma Bin, Community Secretary Yao Lixin and Dong Shuxian banged on the door. Because Wang Jun refused to open the door, they mobilized more people. The police blocked the entrance to Wang Jun's home and the entrance of the building. Wang Jun had to jump from the window again to escape.
Later, Yao Lixin, Dong Shuxian, Ma Bin and director of the police station Chen unceasingly coerced Wang Jun's son to tell them his mother's whereabouts. They also forced Wang Jun's son to write the "guarantee letter".
In September 2004 Wang Jun returned home. Her neighbor reported her return to the community. The next day Yao Lixin and Dong Shuxian arrived. After failing to persuade Wang Jun to write the three statements, Yao Lixin said they would continue the monitoring. In addition, she ordered Wang Jun's employer to stop paying her wages during the time she was not at home and continuously monitored Wang Jun. Lingkong Police Station personnel often harassed Wang Jun's family using the excuse that they needed a photo from Wang Jun to renew her ID card.
Li Dianqin's persecution experience at this police station
In March 2000, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Dianqin was deceived by police officer Guo Peng, who was trying to coerce her to provide an affidavit. Li Dianqin wrote down "Restore my Master's innocent reputation," "Restore the practice environment for Dafa practitioners," etc. They sent Li Dianqin to the Tiexi Mental Hospital for brainwashing. The bedding used by mental patients at this hospital smelled foul and took one's breath away. She could only cover the lower half of her body.
On June 2, 2000, Li Dianqin and fellow practitioners went to the Yingkou Beijing opera troupe to clarify the truth to the director, playwrights and performers. This troupe had put on a play that slandered Falun Gong to poison the minds of the young people. Li Dianqin found the director to clarify the truth, and the director called the police from his cell phone. Dozens of police came and arrested the Falun Gong practitioners and took them to the Lingkong police station. After midnight, police station personnel sent Li Dianqin and other practitioners to the Danan Detention Center.
On June 8, police officers from this station sent Li Dianqin and five other Falun Gong practitioners - Zheng Pei Ling, Lu Junguo, Liu Yuqin, Li Dianqin, Liu Yufen to the Shenyang Fifth Detention Center for further persecution. Officers from the station and from the national security division forcibly carried Li Dianqin to a police vehicle and confiscated Master's pictures and Dafa books. Li Dianqin tried to hold on to the Dafa books. Five police officers lifted Li Dianqin and shoved her into the police vehicle. They started to hit Li Dianqin as soon as they arrived at the station. An officer said, "The Communist party does not allow you to practice, but you didn't stop! You'd be better off going out beating, smashing and looting!"
They attacked Li Dianqin cruelly, grabbed her by her hair and smashed her head on the ground, distorting her face. Afterwards the police tore up the Dafa books. Five officers beat Li Dianqin in turn. She was also handcuffed. Her hand looked dark purple and swollen. On June 26, they sent Li Dianqin to the Shenyang Fifth Detention Center and then to the Tiexi Mental Hospital for detention on the charge of "disturbing the social order." In August, Li Dianqin was taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The torture she had to endure there made her lose bowel and bladder function. Later she was released on bail for medical treatment and eventually released ahead of time.
