AN exhibition about the alleged persecution of followers of a Chinese spiritual practice is to be held in Huddersfield.
The exhibition, Persecution Meets Principle, will be held at Market Place in the town centre from 10.30am to 5.30pm next Sunday.
It has been organised by Huddersfield followers of the Falun Gong practice.
The aim is to inform people about the spiritual practice and the attempts to eradicate it in China.
Similar exhibitions are being held by followers across the UK.
Huddersfield Falun Gong follower Tony Chen said: "We want to show people the benefits of Falun Gong.
"Persecution is still happening in China. We are trying to highlight it.
"We also want to tell about the courage of followers who are not giving it up."
Falun Gong combines exercises, meditation, compassion, truth and tolerance. Followers believe it can improve their character, health and energy and reduce stress.
Mr Chen runs a class at Huddersfield University.
