(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hao Zhimei , 61 years old, was a retired teacher from Yifu Elementary School in Jianhua District, Qiqihar City. She was abducted on the evening of March 16, 2005, by policemen from Jianhua District Criminal Division, and was detained at the City First Detention Center. She was tortured to death on March 24, 2005.
Ms. Hao started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1995 when she attended Master Li's lectures. Soon after, all her illnesses were cured; she became very healthy and had a rosy complexion. When Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong, Ms. Hao continued cultivating, validating the Fa, and clarifying the truth.
On the evening of March 16, 2005, Ms. Hao was abducted from her home by policemen from the Jianhua District Criminal Division, and was detained at the City First Detention Center. On the evening of March 18, 2005, her younger sister visited her, and she was in high spirits and fine physical condition. Ms. Hao was interrogated later that evening by policemen from the Jianhua District Criminal Division. On March 24, police from the Xinjiang Street Substation in Jianhua District notified Ms. Hao's family that she had died of a "heart attack." They also said that she was sent to the hospital and the doctors tried for two hours to save her but failed. Her family members and the police agreed to schedule the funeral on March 28.
The police told the family that no cameras or cell phones were allowed when preparing her body for the funeral and during the funeral. They were no doubt afraid that criminal evidence would be recorded.
We are investigating further into the circumstances of Ms. Hao's death, as well as the whereabouts of more than sixty other practitioners who were abducted at the same time.
