IMAGES of persecution feature among a moving exhibition of art at the Cambridge Union.
Cambridge Falun Gong Association is holding an exhibition of art about the Chinese spiritual practice Falun Gong or Falun Dafa, which has beliefs similar to those found in Buddhism and Taoism, purporting to improve the mind, body, and spirit.
In July 1999 the Chinese government decided to put a stop to the popularity of Falun Gong and the practice has been persecuted in mainland China ever since.
The free exhibition, entitled Truthfulness, Compassion Forbearance runs until June 16 at the Cambridge Union, 9a Bridge Street, Cambridge.
