(Clearwisdom.net) Since Falun Gong practitioner Jiang Renzheng was deported from Germany and subsequently sentenced to a forced labor camp in China, the German Falun Dafa Association, along with practitioners in Germany and around the globe, have been calling for the German Government to rescue Jiang Renzheng. Their petitions were echoed by many international organizations including the International Human Rights Organization, Amnesty International and the United Nations Refugee Council.
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 19, 2005, several members of the Cork City Council in Ireland took a stance against proclaiming Shanghai a sister city. Chris O'Leary, a Green Party member, thought that this might send the wrong message to China. To date, twelve Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death in Shanghai.
