Mr. Zhang Wei, about 36, used to live in Shenyang City, Shenhe District, Wencui Road south of the Military Main Hospital. In 2001, he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and was sentenced to six months in prison. He was released one month early. He returned to work for a few months in 2002. In six months, he was going to receive his doctorate degree. Ms. Li Ruihuan, 60, is from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. She used to live at Huaxing plot No. 42-5-301. On January 13, 2002, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and has vanished. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Wang Guihuan is a practitioner from Tianmen City, Hubei Province. She was brutally persecuted by members of Tianmen City 610 Office. Even her family participated in abusing her. She disappeared in 2003, and there has been no news about her since then.
Ms. Jiang Xiuxiang, 41, is practitioner from Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. After July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal twice. The first time the police arrested and mercilessly beat her. They detained her in the Renhe hotel. In May 2005, she went to appeal for the second time, but the police arrested her on her way to Beijing. She was held at the detention center for 46 days and was brutally tortured. Ms. Jiang didn't give up cultivation and refused to write the Three Statements. She was then sent to a mental hospital. Later her family paid a fine and brought her home. The authorities wanted to send her to a forced brainwashing center. In order to avoid further persecution, Ms. Jiang was forced to leave home. Her whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Jiang has two daughters. Her older daughter is 18 years old and a high school student. Her younger daughter is 11 years old and living with her aunt.
