(Clearwisdom.net) On June 21st 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from the city of Munich and its outskirts gathered at the Chinese Consulate to strongly condemn the Chinese authorities for killing Gao Rongrong. Practitioners showed a banner reading, "Killing of Gao Rongrong Reveals CCP's Bloodthirsty Nature", and called on the consulate officials to quit the CCP and stand on the side of justice.

The news that Shenyang Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong was persecuted to death on June 16th shocked the entire world. Many people already knew about her case. Clearwisdom.net reported that she was seriously disfigured on May 7th 2004 after being electrically shocked for seven hours by police at Dragon Hill Re-education Centre in Shenyang city. Photos of her mutilated face caused shocks throughout global society. Thereafter, Gao's photo appeared in all kinds of Falun Gong activities to expose the CCP's human rights crimes, and it also became the leading case of the United Nations Human Rights Report on the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. This irritated the CCP, who arrested and detained Gao again on March 6th 2005. She died of exhaustion. All information about Gao is being strictly withheld. The local authorities forbade her mother from seeing her body, and they cremated the body as soon as possible.
The CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong for six years and over 2,600 practitioners have been tortured to death. Millions of practitioners' basic human rights have been denied, countless families have been destroyed and many Falun Gong practitioners' children have lost their parents and homes. But although Falun Gong practitioners are resisting untiringly and the global public voices are adding pressure, the CCP has only changed the persecution from a public one to a covert one and Falun Gong practitioners' situation in China has not changed at all.
A policeman in Munich read the report of Gao Rongrong being disfigured. He was astonished when practitioners told him that Gao was later killed. A passer-by left his contact number, hoping practitioners can participate in a forum on Chinese issues they will be holding. Some people said they felt delighted upon learning that over two million people have quit the CCP as this showed hope for China.
