(Clearwisdom.net) At 11:00 a.m., June 26, the "Uncompromising Courage" International Art Exhibition was opened to pubic for the first time at the Royal Queensland Arts Society on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The exhibition site was provided by the arts society.

At the opening ceremony, a Falun Gong representative explained what Falun Gong is and what the exhibition is about in relationship to the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Mr. Colin Perini, an internationally acclaimed local seascape artist, commended practitioners' uncompromising spirit demonstrated during the persecution. He said that it was very hard for people to stay steadfast in one belief, and that practitioners' persistence is changing the world.
Before the ribbon was cut, local practitioners performed waist drum and dancing programs and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.

A senior Gold Coast reporter was moved by the paintings. She said that it was unacceptable that the persecution documented by the paintings was still ongoing. "The message of the artists needs attention from the whole world," she said, "I hope the persecution will end soon."

The Royal Queensland Arts Society Art Gallery is very close to the ocean in Broadbeach. Upon learning about the truth of Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution in China, the staff of the gallery was very supportive and offered great help to the exhibition.
The society president told the reporter that of the many exhibitions she has hosted, this was the most powerful one.
Upon seeing the exhibit, people can't help asking, "Why don't people have rights to seek a free spiritual life and to practice their own beliefs under the reign of the communist party?" The exhibit indeed helped many to understand the truth.
The 43 paintings will be displayed at Gold Coast for a week and then start a tour to other Australian cities.
