(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful protest at the Chinese Consulate in Latvia. They held banners reading, "Falun Gong, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and "Stop the Persecution against Falun Gong Practitioners" to protest the crimes of genocide committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against Falun Gong practitioners and to call for an immediate end to the on-going persecution that has been taking place for the last six years.

Throughout the activities, some practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, while others handed out flyers to passersby.
