I started to practice Falun Gong in March, 1996, and I have benefited a lot ever since. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, I wrote a guarantee statement under the great pressure from my family, work unit and society, and after enlightening on an evil path. In 1999, because I went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong twice, I was illegally sentenced by the local police station to two and a half years in a forced labor camp. During my time in the forced labor camp, I wrote the three statements under the wicked people's brutal torture and forced brainwashing. After being released and returning home, I was harassed and intimidated by the authorities many times because of my strong attachment of fear. My house was also searched, and my personal property confiscated. In 2004, I was abducted by the authorities from my work unit and taken to the local brainwashing center for forced brainwashing. Because of the 610 Office officials' intimidation and my fear, I compromised with the evil and wrote the three statements against my will. This caused a great loss to Dafa, and I am unworthy of Teacher's compassionate salvation. I hereby solemnly declare that all that I wrote, said and did that is not in accord with Dafa, as null and void. I will do well the three things as required by Teacher and redouble my efforts to make up for the loss I caused to Dafa.

I obtained Dafa and began practicing in 1995. I have benefited a lot physically and mentally. After July 20, 1999, the local authorities forced me to write a guarantee statement not to practice Falun Gong. If I refused to do so, the grain ration for my family would be confiscated and my son would not be allowed to join the army. Because of my attachment of fear, I wrote a guarantee statement promising that I would give up my cultivation. Even worse, I did what a Dafa practitioners should never have done. I burned my Dafa books and a picture of Teacher. Now I realize I did not place Dafa in the first place at that time, nor understand the Fa from the Fa, but was holding on to everyday people's concepts. So I compromised with the evil and was muddleheaded and took the path the old forces arranged, causing loss to Dafa. I hereby solemnly declare that all of what I said and did that is not in accord with Dafa is null and void. From now on, I resolve to do well the three things and to seize the time to save sentient beings, in order to make up for the loss I caused to Dafa. I will steadfastly cultivate in Dafa, closely follow Teacher, firmly take the path arranged by Teacher, and be a true Dafa practitioner.
