(Clearwisdom.net) I have had a lot of hardships in my life so I developed a modest personality. Since I began cultivating, I have come to understand that the hardships were predestined because I accumulated karma in my previous lifetimes. After cultivating for a period of time, I became peaceful. In the eyes of some of my fellow practitioners, I had improved my xinxing.
However after cultivating for a long time, I found that I was separated from Dafa. Although I studied Dafa a lot, I did not see any improvement. The deviated things inside me had not been changed. So I studied the Fa more, but I still did not have a breakthrough. I felt very discouraged.
Teacher told us to look inside when we come across problems. When I looked inside, I thought I had been doing everything carefully and I hadnt done anything wrong.
Gradually I found that I had been walking down the path arranged by the old forces and had cultivated very hard. When I came across a problem, I immediately thought I had done something wrong and took the tribulation as the cultivation environment. I thought that I should bear it and elevate through the suffering.
As Dafa practitioners, we have to be very clear-minded and wise. We should not study the Fa with a human mentality or with certain intentions. Otherwise we will understand Fa in a deviated way. To look inside is to see where one has deviated from Dafa, and not to fall into self-blame. Self-blame is all human thought, and the old forces want to exploit this loophole to strengthen its status.
The old forces have an intricate arrangement for us. We have to be clear-minded and not fall into the perpetual re-paying arranged by the old forces for the karma we created during our previous lives.
Teacher told us to resolve our debts with benevolence. Dafa disciples mission is to save sentient beings. In the Fa-rectification period, our cultivation involves assisting Teacher in saving sentient beings.
To study the Fa with a clear-mind and reason is to cultivate Dafa in an open and upright manner.
