(Clearwisdom.net) I remember when I first arrived in Japan in 2004, I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to a relative based on my personal experience. He said, "So Falun Gong is wonderful!" Several days later he said to me, "I searched on the Internet and I also found some places that badmouth you." I thought it strange, because foreign media did reprint the Chinese Communist regimes slanderous propaganda for a short time after the persecution began in 1999, but now that they have learned the facts, most overseas media report on Falun Gong objectively. Where did he get Japanese reports that slander Falun Gong? It turned out he visited the website of the Chinese Embassy in Japan.
The Tokyo government officially approved the Japan Falun Dafa Association as a non-profit organization on August 27, 2004. This shows that the Japanese people have a sufficient understanding of Falun Gong and that they believe that Falun Gong will benefit Japanese society and its people. Otherwise, how could the sensitive and prudent Japanese government approve of Falun Gong? It was unbelievable to me that the Chinese Embassy was ignoring the truth and slandering a legal organization. I read an article entitled "[Falun Gong] Practitioners in Korea Charge Chinese Embassy in Korea with Libel" and thought, "Perhaps we can also resort to legal means to resolve the Chinese Embassys shameless slander of Falun Gong here in Japan?"
Two years later I encountered the same thing that had happened in Korea. I accessed the website of the Chinese Embassy in Japan and was shocked. Although Im not proficient in Japanese, I saw that the lies most often used by the Communist regime in attacking Falun Gong had all been translated into Japanese and put on the website. There were also reports on the Singapore governments illegitimate trials of Falun Gong practitioners. I found a total of 30 such articles. Today, when the Communist regimes crime of selling Falun Gong practitioners organs for profit has been exposed, and this crime, described as "a form of evil new to this planet," is sending shock waves throughout the international community, the Chinese Embassy in Japan is still blatantly publishing lies about Falun Gong on its website.
One important responsibility for embassies is to protect the safety and interests of its own citizens abroad, but everything has been given a sick twist by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Chinese Embassy engages in surveillance, manipulation, and persecution of overseas Chinese people. According to the seventh chapter of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, the CCP said nothing when the Khmer Rouge regime killed more than 200,000 Chinese, and when Chinese people sought help at the Chinese consulate, their pleas fell on deaf ears. The Chinese Communist regime again remained silent when the large-scale killing and raping of Chinese took place in Indonesia in May 1998. Instead of providing aid, the Communist regime did its best to block information inside China and acted as if the lives of overseas Chinese had nothing to do with the Chinese government. It refused to provide even the most basic humanitarian assistance. Chinese embassies employed front line roughnecks to extend the persecution of Falun Gong to foreign soil.
Eight reports published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website between June and August 2005 gave detailed background information. Chinese embassies use many methods of harassment, including refusing to renew and withholding passports of Chinese Falun Gong practitioners living abroad, systematically spreading lies and instigating hatred at various gatherings in the Chinese community or activities organized by the Chinese embassy, maintaining blacklists with practitioners names, and pressuring local governments to deny practitioners the right to hold public activities, pressuring governments of small countries to participate in the persecution by restricting practitioners rights to appeal, deporting practitioners who have been granted refugee status by the United Nations Refugee Agency, and sending people to interfere with practitioners exercises and truth clarification activities. The Chinese embassies have even hired thugs to beat practitioners. The embassies harass, threaten, and intimidate practitioners. If we compare the Chinese Communist regime to an octopus, its embassies are tentacles that reach all over the world to spread lies and poison the minds of unwary people. This is why overseas practitioners have persisted for years in sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth in front of Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, because these tentacles are directly connected to the heart of the Party.
All websites run by the Chinese Communist regime carried Falun Gong-slandering columns at the beginning of the persecution. As their lies were exposed one by one, the persecution has lost its base and some of this material was removed. Websites such as the one owned by the Chinese Embassy in Japan however, continue to spread lies even after they have been exposed. Such behavior will go down in history's hall of shame and receive just punishment.
As the Nine Commentaries, published by The Epoch Times, spreads ever more widely, more and more people now realize that the destruction of the CCP is inevitable. More than 15 million people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and this number is constantly rising. Some high-ranking Communist officials have publicly stood up and denounced the CCPs crimes and announced their separation from the CCP. One of them is Chen Yonglin, a former consular official in Australia.
We hereby solemnly warn the Chinese Embassy in Japan to immediately stop its slander of Falun Gong. Only by quitting the CCP will you ensure a way out for yourselves. You will receive divine retribution if you continue this crime, and we will file lawsuits against officials at the Chinese Embassy, charging them with libel, to hold them legally responsible.
