(Clearwisdom.net) I always thought that I'd cultivated well and understood issues better than others, but actually it wasn't like that at all. Every time Master Li published a new article, I always thought that I fully understood what he'd written quicker than other practitioners, but the truth is I don't really have a deep understanding of the Fa. My understanding of Master's Fa is actually superficial. Recently, as I study the Fa more and look within myself, I realize that it's all due to my attachment to zealotry.
For example, when Master's new article "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil" was published, I thought I understood about righteous thoughts, and believed that this is what we normally do - just keep sending righteous thoughts and things will be fine. I didn't realize, however, that this thought came from my human side, which blocked me from reaching a higher level, and my Buddha side was restrained by this unrighteous thought. Although I focused my mind to send forth righteous thoughts, I still treated it as a daily chore and forgot about the deeper responsibility that Dafa disciples have. I've always been looking forward to the end of Fa rectification and the persecution by the evil CCP (Chinese Communist Party). This disaster has made high-level beings very angry, but I didn't realize that this disaster is actually relevant to all practitioners, myself included. The situation would cease to exist if all the practitioners could eliminate their ordinary human thoughts and understand the Fa from a practitioner's perspective. Our thoughts need to change in order for us to step out of human notions and avoid being taken advantage of by the evil. If the divine powers of the Buddha Fa could be applied properly and the evil thoroughly dissolved, how could the persecution still be allowed to occur?
This is my personal understanding. I hope my fellow practitioners will please kindly correct any shortcomings.
