(Clearwisdom.net) On January 20, 2006, the Minghui/Clearwisdom website issued an "Announcement," identifying two Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secret agents, Zhong Zheng (male) and Fan Yanyu (female), with a requirement that Dafa disciples in China and abroad cease any contact with them. Later, overseas media reports verified that the American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had proved that Zhong Zheng and Fan Yanyu were secret agents of the CCP who claimed to be Falun Gong practitioners and sent intelligence to the CCP, causing damage and chaos.
After her real identity was exposed on the Internet, Fan Yanyu still pretended to be a Dafa practitioner and acted very grieved. Yet her nature as a CCP secret agent had not changed. She spread rumors and made trouble, creating dissension, and attacking the Falun Dafa and Minghui/Clearwisdom websites, exactly as a CCP secret agent would do. She also colluded with someone else who spread lies on the Internet, attacking Falun Dafa and the Minghui/Clearwisdom websites. She even falsely claimed to have been working for the Minghui newsroom for a long time, attempting to fool people.
Fan Yanyu damaged Dafa from the inside by acting as a Dafa disciple, which was very deceptive. It did much damage. Fan Yanyu once used the name Fan Yanyu (similar pronunciation, different Chinese characters), and pretended to be a Dafa disciple in England, mixing among true practitioners and being very active. She went on a hunger strike in front of the Chinese Embassy in England, so as to deceive Dafa disciples into trusting her. However, she provoked disputes, spread rumors, and made trouble and chaos among Dafa disciples in England, bringing about very bad after effects and causing losses which were difficult to remedy.
To convince practitioners to trust her, Fan Yanyu was very active superficially, but she did not hold herself to the criteria of a cultivator. She especially liked to pry into people's business, and asked to live in practitioners' homes, taking advantage of their compassion.
Fan's field of activity was very far reaching. In March 2003, during the United Nations (UN) human rights conference in Geneva, she managed to be with practitioners who did media work. Before the "Announcement" was issued by the Minghui website on January 20, 2006, Fan was deceiving people all over America. Especially during preparation for the NTDTV Chinese New Year Global Gala held in New York, while she handed out flyers for the gala with other practitioners, her real purpose was to undermine the gala. In order to damage the performance, Fan Yanyu snuck into a dance troupe which was participating in the gala. She messed with one practitioner's mobile phone while pretending to make phone calls, stole some property from the dance troupe, and informed the CCP to hold up the shipping of all the dance costumes that the troupe had ordered from mainland China for the gala.
After the "Announcement" was issued by the Minghui website, Fan Yanyu quickly lost her opportunities outside of China, so she reached back to the mainland, intending to deceive practitioners inside China. She contacted a practitioner who had once provided a list of practitioners' names to an attorney, and deceived that practitioner into trusting her.
During this special historic period, Master cherishes each living creature, giving each one an opportunity, and again and again providing CCP secret agents like Fan Yanyu opportunities to make amends. However the benevolence and the dignity of Dafa exist simultaneously. We hope that these people can clearly see the evil nature of the CCP, not be the tools of the CCP any longer, and no longer do things which bring harm to themselves and their futures.
We should consider this a serious reminder to all Dafa practitioners in and outside of China, to keep clear headed and rational. No longer give any opportunities to CCP secret agent Fan Yanyu, and do not let the evil exploit any loopholes in our own attachments.
