(Clearwisdom.net) On March 8, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Auckland, New Zealand held a press conference at which Mr. Huang Guohua and his daughter Huang Ying (nickname: Kaixin) described the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong using the tragic experience of his family.

Mr. Huang was persecuted by the CCP for practicing Falun Gong, and his wife died as a result of persecution. Mr. Huang and his daughter escaped to Thailand, but when he protested against the actions of the CCP's police in front of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand in December 2005, the Thai police, pressured by the CCP, arrested and detained him for a month. Mr. Huang and his daughter finally regained freedom through Falun Gong practitioners' hard work and help from the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and the New Zealand government. They were arranged to live in New Zealand, where they arrived six weeks ago. This was the first time they have exposed the CCP's tyranny to New Zealand media.
