Both Hong Fei and the unknown female practitioner had been plagued by sickness karma for a long period of time. Mr. Hong, around 20, used to have kidney problems. After he took up the practice of Falun Gong, his symptoms improved, however, the kidney problem still relapsed from time to time. The female practitioner used to have cancer. On the day of the arrest, after he was taken to the police car, the police saw that Hong Fei was not in good health and they threw him out of the car and onto the street. As a result, Hong Fei died. The female practitioner fainted when she was arrested. Not long after, she also passed away. The details of these two deaths are being investigated. At present, the CCP is spreading the rumor that the two practitioners died because of their practice of Falun Gong.
She Hongyan and Li Guixia are currently jailed in Daonan Police Station and the police do not allow their family members to visit them.
At around 3:00 PM on March 10, 2006, people from Qinhuangdao City Party Committee led dozens of national security brigade policemen and broke into the home of practitioner Chang Li. They took away his laptop, printer, Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, tape recorder, DVD, money and some other personal belongings. Another elderly female practitioner who was visiting Chang Li was also arrested along with him. At present, Chang Li is being detained at the Qinghuangdao First Detention Center. It has also been discovered that another practitioner, Ji Qingyu, was arrested at his workplace on the same day. He was taken away by national security brigade policeman Lu Ping. At present, Ji is detained at the Qinghuangdao Second Detention Center.
Practitioner Chang Li, in his 30s, is a medical doctor at the Qinhuangdao Chinese Medicine Hospital. He lives on the fifth floor of unit 1, building 16 of Wenmingli residential area. At around 3:00 PM on March 10, 2006, there was another incident of arrest in Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City. Zhang Shujun, Qinglong County national security brigade captain, is the main culprit. Practitioner Liu Huimin, in his 40s, from Haihong Village, was released last year after five years of illegal imprisonment. Since he lost his job and did not have a place to live, he was living with Chen Zhiling temporarily. On March 10, policeman Zhang Shujun and other people knocked on the door of Chen Zhiling's home, claiming to be a relative. After they got in, they ransacked the home and took away Liu Huimin.
