A Story from the Past

(By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Nanyang, Henan Province)

On December 27, 2000, I went to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa. The police arrested me and I was detained in the detention center of Haidian District Police Station. Because I refused to tell the persecutors my name, they called me "D22." Ten days after I went on a hunger strike, I was put into a vehicle with 7 other practitioners. One of the practitioners could not walk because of the torture she had suffered, and she was carried to the vehicle. I heard the following dialogue between two policemen in the vehicle:

Policeman A: Where are we going anyway? With so much snow on the road, it is difficult to drive.

Policeman B: We are heading to a hospital in the province capital for physical exams.

Policeman A: These practitioners have been on hunger strike for so many days, and some of them cannot even walk or talk. What is the point of doing physical exams on them?

Policeman B: Jiang Zemin ordered the exams -- some practitioners who were sent for exams several days ago have not returned yet.

When it was my turn for the physical exam, the doctors could not find any blood pressure, and my heart rate was over 150 per minute. They could not draw blood after trying several times. They finally drew a little bit from my thigh artery. Because I had been on a hunger strike for many days, it was hard to collect a urine sample. Finally I could give some dark red urine. After the exam, the persecutors sent me back to the detention center and put me on an IV. When the person who took care of me asked the detention center doctor about my situation, the doctor replied, "She was diagnosed with kidney failure and there is a 70224aacrobability of her dying. Two days later, they sent me to Nanyang City's Liaison office in Beijing, where I waited for my family members to pick me up.

What Were the Motives for Physical Examinations in Sanshui Women's Forced Labor Camp?

(By Li Huagui, a Falun Dafa practitioner in the U.S.)

In 2001, I was unlawfully imprisoned in Sanshui Women's Labor Camp in Guangdong Province for 8 months, for no more than clarifying the truth to the public. There were four groups in the labor camp, and practitioners were detained in the No. 2 Group. Around October 2001, Sanshui Women's Labor Camp in Guangdong Province carried out a full physical examination on all Falun Gong practitioners, including blood pressure, X-rays and ultrasound scans. Not too long afterwards, some doctors came to the working area (where practitioners were used for slave labor) to examine the practitioners' hearts.

But other inmates were not examined. It puzzled us, because the labor camp did not treat practitioners as human beings. Recently, the CCP's crimes of live organ removal were revealed. It reminded me of the labor camp's attempt to perform physical examinations. What were the persecutors' motives behind the physical exams?

Blood Test in Baimalong Forced Labor Camp

According to practitioners who were released from Baimalong Forced Labor Camp (in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province), the forced labor camp has performed blood tests on all detained practitioners.
