There is always a good turnout for the New York Fa conferences since you all know that Master spends a lot of time in the New York area. Each Dafa disciple is trying his utmost to do what he should do on the path of validating the Fa, and since what you are doing at present is closely linked to your cultivation, you are in fact cultivating this way. The form that your cultivation takes has one cultivate in ordinary human society, and people in different social classes or different professions can all cultivate; and as you reside in different societies and make use of the different professions you are in to validate the Fa and save sentient beings in every corner of the world, you are utilizing this present form of society to cultivate.

(Clearwisdom.net) RFA reported on June 12, 2006 that a female Falun Dafa practitioner from Hong Kong was arrested and is still detained in Beijing for passing out fliers.
Arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Ding, 66, is a retired Hong Kong government employee who taught in public schools.
(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners are still being brutally tortured at Masanjia labor camp in Liaoning province. Practitioners Xie Dewen, Yan Chunjiao, Wang Huinan, Yuan Shuzhe, Yang Liwei, Long Shufen, Wang Manli, Zhou Hua, Zou Xiuju and others are handcuffed twenty-four hours a day, and tied to a bed in the shape of cross for at least fourteen hours a day. Such tortures have lasted for more than half a month.

After Liang had her daughter, she contracted an incurable disease—rheumatoid arthritis. She sought medical treatment everywhere with no success. When she was ill, her husband not only failed to understand and take care of her, but considered her a burden. He was unkind to her, and often yelled at and beat her.
