(Clearwisdom.net) On May 15, 2006, German practitioners were outside the Chancellor's office, who was going to visit China. They called on Chancellor Merkel to pay attention to the harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners' organs being committed by the Chinese Communist regime, and to help to urge the Chinese Communist regime to stop persecuting Falun Gong. During the activities, besides distributing leaflets exposing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong and petition forms calling to stop this persecution, putting up display boards, and holding an anti-torture exhibition, the practitioners gave yellow ribbons to the local residents.
A few days ago, two people contacted The Epoch Times. They said that they have paid attention to the brutal persecution against Falun Gong for a long time, and they were moved by theFalun Gong practitioners' noble spirit. They thought that the crux of all kinds of social problems in China was because of the CCP's brutal persecution against Falun Gong. As long as the persecution is not stopped, all kinds of social problems will linger. Therefore, they thought that the most urgent thing was to stop the persecution. They were trying to find a way to help stop the persecution.
They came up with the idea of having a yellow ribbon to show support for Falun Gong and to call for an end of the CCP's persecution. People can wear that yellow ribbon to express their support and respect towards Falun Gong practitioners and to show their protest against the CCP's persecution. They wrote an article named "The Wishes Expressed by a Yellow Ribbon" and a song called "Please wear this yellow ribbon" as follows.
"Please wear this yellow ribbon,
stretch out your hands, send forth the righteous voice,
Pray for blessings on Dafa disciples
They can return their home earlier.
Please wear this yellow ribbon,
It tells you, many people are suffering in the Orient,
they can recognise this yellow.
Wearing yellow ribbon on hands, heart reaching thousands miles away.
