(Clearwisdom.net) In clarifying the truth, I sometimes hear people say, "I know a Falun Gong practitioner named so-and-so. But he is not like what you have described." Thus, we can see that our casual speech or behavior may have set up barriers for clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. That's why I feel it's necessary to write about this and call fellow practitioners' attention to this matter.
Everyday people do not understand or see the meaning of Dafa, but they see what we, as particles of Dafa, do and say. Our own image is a strong proof for validating Dafa and clarifying the truth. We are particles of Dafa, molecules of Dafa, and the overall image of Dafa should be safeguarded by every particle. If any of the particles are not up to par, it will affect people around the particle. From a general perspective, it may bring a negative effect to Dafa.
We should always remember our mission as Dafa particles, and do things from the standpoint of Dafa. We should balance our relationships among everyday people, family members, and work. We should not be confused or be interfered with by the variety of false illusions in human society. We should conform to human society but not behave as do everyday people. Saying that we will walk on the right path is not enough. Our reputation is shaped by the accumulation of every thought, every behavior and by every tiny little portion of our lives.
Our own behavior as Dafa disciples is capable of validating the Fa. Only when we have done well and shown people around us that people who practice Falun Dafa are all good people -- who think of others before they think of themselves, and who are not attached to reputation or interest, gain or loss -- can we safeguard Dafa and validate Dafa.
This is my personal experience. If there are any mistakes, please kindly point them out.
